If we lose top class players it is very unlikely that we will replace them with similar quality ones but surely if we had Wanyama Claise Mane Bertrand playing last night we would have done better We also seem to have identified a CB who for a pretty good reason has not signed for us at the moment. The four players we have have signed surely have to be given time to see how they develop and get used to SFC

Or he could be interested in playing for a big club which is likely to finish in the top 6. We have had a couple of good seasons and it would be pretty surprising if we had a third especially as I think PL results were not that good in the final games last season.

Yes quite right I totally agree

I think there should be some realism on this Forum just because we finished higher than Everton last season it does not mean we are automatically going to beat them this season especially with the team we put out on Saturday which in no way will be the best one we eventually field. Players like Fonte and Wanyama played really well last season but they might not do so this year and other teams may also perform better than they did last season that is just football. I am pretty sure we will do OK this season but I doubt we will be successful as we were last season as the loss of our better players is going to catch up with us eventually

Well it is their money after all I think it is going to take sometime to for the team to be in line for another top 7 finish
