Dont remember any am I right? Most Central European and Scandinavian players have done well
-
I think we have one of the best manager's and one of the best squad's we have had in the PL so lets see what happens
-
Yes me too
-
I was at the Dell that day boring match especacially after the Leyton O one but remember seeing Glen Hoddle for the first time
-
Why if he did not want to play for us The only position he could play was Rb and Clyne is better than him so where was he to play surely not CB in the PL
-
Dont really understand why Reed would be involved Rodgers is the CEO so I would expect him to be involved handling transfers especially Osvaldos as the club just want to get rid of him
-
I thought I read somewhere he was due to leave earlier in the year no idea why but may have been something to do with Cortese who seems to have been more disruptive to the Club than dear old Rupert Lowe

The board are doing a great job as they seem to be ****ing you off . But seriously how were they going to stop Shaw over £100k per week going to Man U and Lallana /Lovren going to their spiritual home at Anfield for CL Action and doubling of their wages. It would have been nice to have kept them but we need to get real the PL with all its money is ruining football for us fans with players showing no loyalty and the National team being a joke because of all the foreign players coming in. In the 1960s when I was a student I could afford usually to go to a couple of Div1/Cup games a week in London something which would be quite impossible today. I doubt we will get relegated but of course it could happen but when we get the new players we should be able to develop a good team over the next few years but only time will tell unfortunately we are in Kats hand it is her club and she can do whatever she wants to do with it and I think she wants in run in a sound and ethical way rewarding people for employees efforts
-
I am not really sure what you are getting at The players concerned do not seem to want to play at st Mary's and when their contract ends they can leave for nothing so what should Les and Co do Force them to stay and buy new players when they leave or get loads of money now and buy new players for less who maybe better than the ones being sold. From an economic point of view the board seem to be do miracles of course if the club is relegated they will have failed but that is unlikely as the new squad will be better than the one that got promoted and will have a much more experienced manager. I think the team will perform quite well in the next few months

I think it is pretty disgraceful postings things like this based on pure fiction you have absolutely no idea what is happening at the club and the plans they have on rebuilding the team. I dont really know why you support Saints if you cannot accept that things may go wrong from time to time players want to leave to get more money and enhance their International prospects so it is virtually impossible to keep them. But as you dont appear to be very pragmatic I fully accept that you will have another mindless rant shortly
-
Dont you realise it is her money and she can do whatever she wants with it After spending £30m+ on Osvaldo Mayuka Remierz and Forren I expect she is going to be a careful in spending millions more
-
I think you should apologise to Paul your post is disgraceful. He has every right to post his thoughts which are pretty coherent compared to your rantings just calm down
-
God you do seem to be having a crisis with fans like you whingeing all the time I would not blame if KAT sold up and ****ed off It is her money that has got us back in the PL without it where would we be She and her fellow directors are running the club and you have to accept it whats more they probably know whats going on
-
Very good post which I totally agree with The only point I would add is that both Reed and Kruegar said we are not a selling club I think what they meant by that was that the club does not need to sell to move forward but of course they will sell if players do not want play for the club. We have really done well to get £75m for Lallana Lovren and Shaw
-
I agree but will raise you as I'll bet a cheese and pickle sandwich that nothing happens today
-
I dont want Danny Fox back but he did create quite a few assists some the tapped up Shaw failed to do
-
So Dubai Phil was talking Bollix the other night I suppose Think we will have to wait a bit longer for further signings as nothing I have read recently indicates an imminent signing which is a little sad I think we will get some decent players eventually
-
Why should it be anybody's fault players may not want to come here
-
The problem with Cork is that he appears to lack strength when he has the ball and is not really a DM
-
I think it is great that Cortese has gone he was not good for the club especially the way staff and suppliers were treated We have replaced Poch with probably a better manager who has a wide range of contacts more experience and speaks english. We have replaced Lallana with an experienced and widely respected international who has proved to be a goal scorer and can last for the full ninety mins. We have replaced Lambert who was beginning to fade as a stand out player by a proven goal scorer. We got 30million for Shaw who has apparently never scored a goal or provided an assist but does have a lot of potential the highest fee for an 18 year old We also have the stripes the stripes back and are beginning to get a new squad together so I think the future is pretty bright
-
I think you maybe wrong there
-
Would a CB want to come if Lovren was still here
-
As I am not an agent but a Saints fan I am still surprised that we have not got more players in to make our squad stronger the club suggests that it has targets but as I said there is still time. Other clubs seem to be recruiting OK but all we seem to have done is replace sold players but no enhanced the squad as yet I do think the new players are very good signings
-
I feel virtually the same just a bit surprised that after Reeds comments about the scouting there has not been more activity but of course there is time

Tottenham was the first club in the 20th century to achieve the League and FA Cup Double, winning both competitions in the 1960–61 season. After successfully defending the FA Cup in 1962, in 1963 it became the first British club to win a UEFA club competition – the European Cup Winners' Cup.[4] In 1967 it won the FA Cup for a third time in the 1960s. In the 1970s Tottenham won the League Cup on two occasions and was the inaugural winner of the UEFA Cup in 1972, becoming the first British club to win two different major European trophies. In the 1980s Spurs won several trophies: the FA Cup twice, FA Community Shield and the UEFA Cup in 1984. In the 1990s the club won the FA Cup and the League Cup. When it won the League Cup once more in 2008, it meant that it had won a major trophy in each of the last six decades – an achievement only matched by Manchester United.
