Saints V Man City Match Thread & Reaction
Window Cleaner replied to Heisenberg's topic in The Saints
We're not good enough I'd guess. Seems to me that we're always missing a kick arse striker or a goal scoring midfielder. When we have the one we don't usually have the other. -

Football is played on a patch of grass of about 100 yards by 50 yards. It's not played in accounts books, balance sheets or marketing data. -
Nowhere near good enough for PSG. They've learnt their lesson with Ben Arfa.

Tottenham punching above their weight? They have one of the best sides in the PL, probably the best manager and probably the 2nd richest owner. How is that punching above their weight? -
Long needs to be putting on his not being offside boots more than anything else.
-
Saints won't be in Europe next season..count on it. Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool, City, Utd and Arsenal will be, Everton will be if Leicester don't win the CL and Leicester will be if they do.

Well in the immortal words of Proust (not Marcel, his third cousin, once removed, René) "If it sounds like bolloaks then it probably is".
-
I don't know, perhaps he has a magical agent. After all someone persuaded us to buy the permanent sicknote didn't they ?
-
After our first innings you mean. Getting 320 in 2 full days was always realisable.
-
Yes, nailed it, great start to the season.
-
So 320 to win in 2 days then, someone tell Vince that he doesn't need to get them all in the first over...
-
In fact it looks like same old, same old.Good start, had them at 152/7, the long tail wag gives them a reasonable total and then Adams and Vince fail with the bat early on exposing the middle order long before it should be exposed.
-
All looks good then, looking forward to an nieme season of County Cricket.
-
Obviously a good thing because it corrected 2 bad calls. First one should have been spotted by the linesman though, second one was just a boot in front so wasn't so evident.
-
As has been stated many times before, Jack the Ripper would probably pass the FAPP test.

Has 6 full caps I think . Last one was probably about 18 months ago. May have even been replaced by Pelle. -

It's not hard to find by using the wonders of IT. Any Forbes reference to M Liebherr is though. https://www.forbes.com/profile/willi-isolde-liebherr/

Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES

Going about their everyday affairs I expect. It's not about Muslims in general usually, it's about extremism in general and Salafism in particular. -
It was obviously a solid group of companies but I doubt it was much more than that.

But religious extremism isn't a crime in the civilised world. It may well be in South East Asia for all I know about it. There you may get imprisoned for your religious beliefs but not in Europe. -
Show me that then. The only Liebherr's that exist on Forbes list are Willy and Isolde and Family.

As I've said on several occasions, there is no real evidence available in the public domain that Ms Liebherr disposes of anywhere near 1 billion dollar/swiss francs/euros etc. She may of course be the proud possessor of a billion Nigerian nagwes or similar. MALI International was wound up with very little fuss in the years following Marcus's sad demise. The fact that Cortese seemed to be the sole administrator on a part time basis for much of that time would tend to indicate that is was just a solid but relatively simple affair.
