  1. There you go, good enough to mastermind a win at Stamford Bridge. I didn't see the match but according to a report Chelsea dominated but couldn't break QPR down. They rode their luck yes but sounds like QPR have got to the 'organised' stage. They got tough games coming up but their results from February onwards will be key. I still think they'll stay up.
  2. Judging by match of the day last night, Ramirez and Lambert alone should tear their defence apart
  3. Absolutely vital we carry this form over to Villa Park in 11 days. Villa and Wigan away in the next month will be critical to our season
  4. The same Paul Merson that also claimed before the season that Rickie Lambert wouldn't score 5 goals in the PL this year. He's only employed for 'comedy' aspect due to his inability to pronounce hardly anyone's name. Absolutely clueless pundit.
  5. LOL you beat me to it They go over an hour without scoring only for Collins to come on and score a hat trick within 13 mins of coming on.
  6. I love how all of Mark Lawrenson's predictions for tomorrow's games are either a 2-0 or 2-1 win
  7. This is where we'll have to agree to disagree because I don't see this at all. Both KD and Gazza have had the odd half decent game here and there but overall they look like two keepers shot of confidence and out of their depth, and Davis looked out of his depth 7 years ago as a 29 year old. You brought the Norwich game up earlier and yes Gazza was shocking but his error for their goal was no different to what KD did against Man U (apart from RVP letting KD off the hook by missing a sitter) and their overall performances have been pretty much identical for me. But I don't think we're ever going to agree on this Indeed we don't. Putting the bottle throwing incident aside the million dollar question is why Boruc hasn't claimed the number one jersey with ease given his experience. Considering what happened last time against Arsenal I don't see there is much to lose by giving Boruc a go and the FA cup game against Chelsea, and getting the the other two out of the spotlight for a bit. I think we should be signing a 'number one keeper' regardless and if he turns out to be reliable then send Gazzaniga out on loan for the rest of the season.
  8. If 'arry can get them organised, makes 2 or 3 good signings in the window and they get back to back wins at some stage of the season they'll stay up. 8 points adrift with 18 games to go? They're nowhere near relegated at the moment.
  9. If you're referring to Jerome's winner no keeper in the world would have saved that. It was the sheer pace of it (70mph according to MOTD I believe) that made it unstoppable.
  10. you must have the shortest memory in the history of football. KD lost his confidence completely after some terrible performances and in the end was a complete liability. He was a busted flush. The Arsenal game is right up there with Ian Andrews at QPR as one of the worst displays I have ever seen from a Saints keeper. Thank god NA dropped him. See what I did there? Davis is no better than Gazzaniga, but that doesn't mean I regard Gazzaniga any better than Davis. Marginally possibly but not by any great distance by any means. I did think Gazzaniga was the answer at first but it's proven too much of a step up for him too soon in his career. He has the potential to be but he simply isn't good enough yet, whereas Davis wasn't good enough for the PL 7 years ago, let alone now at 36 when his reflexes aren't as good. When KD sat down on his arse against Arsenal as Gervinho slammed the ball past him at the near post as if it was an open goal, it confirmed that KD shouldn't be anywhere near a PL first team. But has Gazzaniga been any better after his run of games? At the absolute best, barely. With his experience Boruc should be claiming the number one jersey with ease, but for whatever reason he hasn't and there must be one hell of a good reason why NA is keeping him on the bench. Personally I think we should give Boruc one last try against Arsenal and possibly the FA cup game, and if there isn't any vast improvement then we need someone in on loan preferably by the Villa game. This may risk unsettling the defence but it's a calculated gamble. The defence and Boruc could be a calamity together but the thought of having Davis (or Gazzaniga for that matter) in goal against Arsenal again terrifies me.
  11. Can't see why anyone thinks he's better than Gazzaniga. NA must have one good reason for keeping Boruc on the bench. A keeper in the window is a must.
  12. I'd have Richardson playing at RB over Yoshida any day of the week, providing he's fit to play. Whenever I've seen Yoshida playing at RB he looks like a player playing out of position. I can understand the logic of hooiveld as Stoke are bound to hoof it into the box a lot but even with Clyne out and Ramirez apparently with a niggle, it's a strange team selection in places. I hope for Nigel's sake we get a decent performance today. . .
  13. Reading, Wigan and either us or Villa

I wonder what the Mail has to say about this
  15. Mayuka practically changed the game himself when he came on vs spurs, although when ever he has started he's been poor. As for Lambert being marked out by Huth, it wasn't that long ago that Lambert was giving Vidic and Ferdinand a torrid time. RL does seem to be half a yard short at the moment but I'd still play him against Stoke. That isn't just because of my status. Honest.
  16. Ah well that's a decent point and we bettered QPR's and Wigan's results today. Could have been worse, we could have lost 2-1 at home to the mighty Crawley Town
  17. Don't understand anyone who thinks KD is good enough for the PL
  18. Great thread
  19. Because half the time he runs at a player he throws himself to the floor and waves his arms around wanting a free kick, where Messi is constantly driving at the defence, looking for the pass or putting the opposition under pressure in some way. It's arguable that it's their respective attitudes that's the difference between the two players. Also when it comes to goals alone Messi has outscored Ronaldo in 2 of the 3 seasons since Ronaldo moved to Madrid. This season they've both played 17 games, Ronaldo has 14 goals, Messi has 26. Ronaldo & Messi are the two best players in the world and have been for years. Ronaldo's goal record has been simply sensational for years but there's a good reason why Messi is being discussed as one of the greatest ever and Ronaldo isn't.
  20. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMJZfJW56N0 Have done and each time I see it the more I'm convinced Williams miskicked it
  21. He has just scored to put Liverpool 3-0 up

  24. actually he was born in Allahe, which is in southern Benin. (without wanting to go all MLG on you)
  25. Siphiwe Tshabalala currently plays for Kaizer Chiefs in SA. 'arry has asked Taarabt to not play but Taarabt wants to.
