Having had to miss the Sunderland game but having seen the Real Sociedad friendly I was looking forward to seeing Wanyama yesterday. After about 30 mins I found myself asking in what way he was worth 12 million or better than Cork. Looked to me like at half time someone told him to start passing the bloody ball forward and he was much improved. I will be very interested to see how he develops over the next few months.

No its not you, I said that to the old man yesterday. Truth of the matter is that high energy pressing game died a death after a while last season too. We only seemed to play it against the top sides like Chelsea. Man City and Liverpool. When we were told that it was a fitness issue and that MP was doing a quick fix because there were certain things he couldnt introduce until pre-season I'm afraid I totally bought that. I dont know why its vanished, I thought and hoped it was the way forward. Perhaps it will make a return at Anfield on Saturday as its the first top team we have faced this season.

You can say that again. The Jay Rod one in the first half was terrible, it was like a four year old seeing how far he could kick it in front of him ! Osvaldo must wonder what the hell he has come to !

If you only watched or judged the second half performance that is true. If you watched or judged the first half performance there is absolutely no way you could come to that conclusion.

He hasnt physically been banned from Staplewood, just told he wont train with the first team.

If he wants to play football he will take a pay cut whilst on loan surely ? IF he cant live off half that amount a week he has a problem, I would gladly live off 10% of that a week !

I don't think we will get anyone with pace to play out wide and I think the reason for that is MP wants to play like he is still in Spain where the build up is more sedate and precise. And that is my concern cos I'm not sure that will work in The Premiership.

As Wanyama is travelling to Kenya for internationals it will be interesting to see if Cork is selected ahead of him against West Ham given Cork will not have had the travelling etc. I bloody hope so anyway, put the partnership wuth Morgan back together again !

Dont see the point having t wo full backs on bench when Cork or Mayuka could have been better options.

Considering Osvaldo wasn't even the designated penalty taker at his previous club why the hell would he come in and replace the current one who hasn't missed from the spot as yet. Sorry but its a ridiculous question by yet another one of the mischief makers on here
