  1. no I would go with hippysaint's description I think !
  2. With only one League match scheduled in the next fortnight that woyuld be the ideal answer !
  3. He can resemble the elephant man as long as he scores the goals that get us out of this league !
  4. Well they still probably will. Just because he has gone doesnt mean they will suddenly lose every game. It probably means their challenge will tail off as the season goes on but its not like they wont pick up another win !
  5. Is it ? I am surprised, I always thought assult and battery was worse. You can learn things on this forum after all ! :-)
  6. At least he isnt charged with assult by battery like the Essex guy. That sounds a lot worse.
  7. Oh get over yourself you self inflated pillock. You were challenged because everyone knows you base your theories on nothing more than hearsay and garbage :-) Its called irony mate - "lets see what alpine thinks" !!!
  8. But thats all you can do, base your opinions on what people write on here or what Dave Intense Merrington might get wrong on Solent/Saints i player. Harding has been no different to last season when he was runner up to Rickie in the Player of the Season vote. You are of course entitled to voice your opinion but keep it away from slagging players that you never see play please cos at the end of the day you are making yourself look a bit of a berk, and I'm sure you are far from it.
  9. Wonder what they will do tonight ? Will they go and play out of their skins for him one last time or will they not give a toss ? Howe's team talk would be worth hearing.
  10. South Today - Wednesday Night - headline and picture of Mr E. Howe - "Is this the most loyal man in football?" Friday Lunchtime - NO ! Priceless Feel for them cos I know how I would feel if it was us.
  11. The very best of luck to you Marian. A pre-season friendly at St Marys would be a great way for Pahars to come back to Southampton.
  12. Now that would be great in so many ways.
  13. Cortese hasn't lied to us yet about the coming and going of any players. I am quite confident he wont start lying now.
  14. You've seen something in his answer that I didnt then :-)
  15. You would have to see the funny side of it yes........I wonder how the planks that chanted and virtually kissed his backside outside Dean Court Tuesday lunchtime will feel about Eddie Eddie Eddie if he does go ? And what possible reason/excuse will he come up with that wont make him look a pillock ? All very tedious......still dont think he has the guts to go tho ;-)
  16. 100% agree !
  17. Cant see Brighton losing to be honest.
  18. There is more than one bus cos we have parked the Man Utd Cup fixture according to one of his interviews on the OS. We must have a bus station tucked away somewhere I guess !! And dont forget the "together as one" sign off after his matchday program notes !
  19. Really ? Still not a first name on the team sheet at Arsenal is he ? Not sure he has progressed as well as he might had he stayed, or gone out on loan, for a season or two.
  20. I dont think any Saints fan with half an ounce of sense will ever forget that if it wasn't for Markus, and Nicola for that matter, that nights like this would never have happened.
  21. Bit worried that NA has some sort of transport fixation. All this talk about buses and the quote on the OS yetserday about the Utd cup tie where we have "parked that fixture for now"...... is the Cup bus different from the league bus ? I think we should be told ;-)
  22. No Puncheon, not even on the bench. Unless he is injured I find that very strange, especially after the way he played Saturday. Perhaps that was his "good bye" game ?
  23. I think its perfectly reasonable GM. FWIW three of us were in the Terry Paine Suite, we had never done Hospitality before and thought we would treat ourselves. Have to say it was great, really enjoyed it.
  24. I dont think Liverpool are in a position eiher financially or in league position to splash big money on a 17 year old boy who has played a handful of League One games and throw him straight into the pressure cooker of Premiership football. In an ideal world I'm sure they would love to get him but in the real world they have much bigger fish to fry in the transfer window IMHO.
  25. Well that bit could well be right, you dont have to support your local team as most of us out of town glory hunting Saints fans can testify to
