I felt like that when we signed Mark Hughes......and he did **** all to win me over in the time we had him which seemed like an eternity.

Thats just not true. Under the Dutch pillock we had he was our best player until he got a bad injury at QPR early on. Could definitely do a job in the Championship and if he still has a year of his contract left its not really an issue getting rid of him cos nobody will want him with the injury record.

After watching the MK Dons v Peterbro game I have seen a player who with the service we could supply would be fantastic. Sam Baldock.

Pleased about that, Adkins seems a really decent man and it appears that the players like and respect him. My only reservation is wether he would be good enough if and when we get back to the Premiership. Only time will tell, I for one hope he is cos i have no problem with him driving this bus for many years to come.

Not totally. He started off poorly but that was probably just new club syndrome. In the league Cup against Bournemouth he was dreadful. I think Pardew pulled him off at half time. He took a while to settle in. next year will be the test but I just cannot believe that so many on here are prepared to let Harding go. That is crazy.

does that apply to all clubs or just ours.....in your opinion of course ? Also, does that also apply to people who are members of the National Trust or a golf club or a sports centre etc cos it makes them, in your opinion, feel superior to those who just visit one National Trust home or park every year or play the odd round of golf when the weather is nice or use a Sports Centre swimming pool in the hot weather ?

Not sure they will think of that. A player who has never played above League 1 ? Think Newcastle will be linked with far more name players than Rickie.

If we do sign a quality midfield player he would be well down the pecking order as cover. Assuming a new boy would be paired with Morgan both Chaplow and Hammond would be ahead of him for selection.

Perhaps it reminded him of training then bearing in mind a most esteemed manager down the coast thinks we play like them

Alex Chamberlain will be a better player than Theo Walcott. I have absolutely no doubt about that. Alex uses his brain and can cross a ball. Theo uses his pace and cannot cross a ball. Thats simplifying things but its two reasons why I will stick by my statement. I would love to see a stat of how many games Theo has started for Arsenal and still been on the pitch after 90 minutes by the way.

Was in two minds about going to the All Saints Day, so I decided to donate what would have been petrol and parking money instead. Fantastic effort so far, really looking forward to seeing "our flag" in August :-)

If last season is anything to go buy they wont be on sale until early July, maybe end of June at best.
