I'd say bottom half all season, constantly in threat of relegation zone but just outside it. Finish a highly disappointing 15th or so.
-
Won't be able to make it anyhow. Not a ST holder but Chambers sale certainly making me consider my stance going forward towards ad hoc home game attendance.
-
Yeah probably think they can maximise Reed and JWP sale price next summer by playing them every week.
-
Yes tweeting a pic of an empty training ground. Innocent but obvious source of mockery given exodus.
-
Disagraceful by Saints selling a supremely talented and versatile youngster for a fraction of what he would have been worth in a year or two. Wenger must be laughing his ass off at ripping at star player from us so easily.
-
Koeman resigning at this point would be cataclysmic. I doubt he was aware of extent of sales. I hope things work out and he hangs around but worry about uneasy partnership.
-
Really if we've sold Chambers, zero chance of Morgan staying. Think Boruc might leave if we sign Forster. Then there's 2 first teamers with their contracts running down who seem rather unhappy.
-
I tend to think it'll more Shaw route. Sad to see go, fought to get good deal, what a fabby dabby doo academy we have and how he will leave us and carry forward top class pedigree for someone else.

Looking forward to how they try and justify the Chambers sale & misleading info about why he was absent from friendly or will it be another one liner. No doubt the Club will try and get a signing over the line and make a big statement acting like that somehow makes flogging chambers ok & everything is hunky dory.

Wonder if Adam's going to get anymore interviews with board after latest tweets describing them as rudderless
-
Up there with Killer for me in terms of top Saints centre backs in my lifetime.
-
I don't know. Feel they think they can keep extracting value and endless line of academy players supplemented by the odd purchase will fill the gap. I hope my gut is wrong and she wants to sell up.
-
Well he's not a Saints player anymore. Hardly likely to be bothered with keeping things on the down low.
-
Suppose empty tweets are cheaper than empty ads in the local paper.
-
Yeah that's some statement right there.
-
I still struggle to see him leaving whilst injured( i still think he'll likely be out till close to new year). Most likely we'll have to rehabilitate him, get him fit, get him match fit and then he'll be flogged in summer.
-
Really so we are end up flogging 7 of the first team for upwards of 130 million, you think we are going to be spending anywhere close to that.
-
Also given the dominance of TV money a protest will be of little relevance unless it contributes to relegation. I'm hoping someone will come in and give them a good offer for a club that'll make them happy to leave with a lump sum over milking saints dry every summer.
-
Indeed, but if all they care about is milking Saints it won't make any difference.
-
Yeah current squad minus expected next batch of departures is a massive relegation scrap squad, which is hardly surprising when you rip the majority of the first xi away.
-
Indeed especially since there is zero financial need and a million other reasons not to. Simple greed or weakness behind it, don't know which is worse.
