  1. Fixed that for you. There's no doubt that Boruc is right to feel aggrieved, but the club have not done anything wrong. Boruc needs to use the sense of injustice to his benefit to help force his way back. He's one of my favourite players of last year (although the number remaining might seem slim pickings) and I would love the guy even more if he remains as professional as he has been.
  2. Put up with whatever? No Accept that he will have to fight for his first team position and that there may be others who are better than him? Yes I'm sure if he outperforms FF in training it will not be long before he is back in the first team
  3. They're the same person!!
  4. I did think 12th a few weeks back. As things stand I would say 15th. If we manage to sign a few more, I might change back to 12th. So in conclusion, I've got no idea.
  5. I don't know if your mate was involved with the thing so not sure if it's a "mate down the pub" or an informed viewpoint (genuinely not aware, I'm not being sarcastic). The Qjacker website does state that you can use a "passbook" and scan direct from your phone at collection, you also pay in advance (when the order is placed). Not a direct equivalent I know, but I've not had a paper boarding pass in ages, I just scan my phone. Obviously, nothing is confirmed, but I can't see any technical or logistical reason to not permit the passbook function at the collection point.
  6. Didn't take long for crotchety old f\/ckers to ridicule the idea did it? Some people want a drink and a burger, some don't. Neither is right or wrong. FWIW, I think it seems a good idea, a lot of people will know they want a particular thing at half time and can pre-order. If there's a way to save time and help people get back to enjoying the football, then surely it's a good thing. I would presume there is the option to scan the order confirmation from your mobile at the collection point and bypass the need for a scan point (maybe the scan point is for non-smart phones so you can print the order if you forget to bring it with you? - I'm guessing though).
  7. Do we know RK / LR didn't talk to Morgan before the interviews?
  8. The Celtic fans I know just appear embarrassed about the decision to be fair to them. Must be a very odd position for them to be in I imagine.
  9. still there on my app, don't access it on a desktop, so don't know the url it's @RonaldKoeman
  10. Glad someone noticed the pun You know you're playing to a niche crowd when you're making accounting jokes
  11. But you still have to consider cash flow. Yes we have significant assets (money owed to us), but that doesn't mean we have the cash to buy with an upfront payment.
  12. Who mentioned unrestricted? If you mean do I think that decisions should be made after having considered the circumstances and allowing discretion within the rules for borderline cases, then yes, yes I do. They allow discretion for the ineligible players already, why not suspended? Change my opinion however you like to fit your position though. I would suggest something along the lines of believing Mick over in Nyon should be allowed to do whatever he feels like in any given situation.
  13. I believe he means accounts receivable are assets of a company. I may be giving him too much credit though
  14. In this case, they have followed the rule to the letter, ignoring the circumstances, I would argue that discretion was warranted for this situation. Granted, they used discretion for Debrecen, in 2010, arguably before governing bodies were as discredited as they are now. My point is that the decision today is made in light of the fact that they are desperate to appear legitimate and above board (hence "failing"). Edit: They fined Debrecen under a different rule (where the game "may" be forfeit), rather than the rule under which this decision was made (where the match "will" be forfeit). So they have never shown discretion.
  15. The effects of a failing bureaucracy. Every rule should be open to discretion for situations that require it.

  20. At f*cking last! Someone who wants to stay. Hope he gets the contract he's wanting and soon.
  21. IMHO, that's pretty much the problem. Too much money. Yes, clubs will use some of that to enhance the local community. The amount spent on this pales in significance compared to the amount spent elsewhere (Rooney's latest Bentley/jet etc). That doesn't make it any less welcome, but a significant reduction in overall income wouldn't necessarily mean a significant reduction in the amount spent in the community. I believe the amount received in broadcasting income is far larger than match day income.
  22. Excellent. I would hate to be a mini man city.
  23. You sure that's not the dept that deal with transfer requests?
