I think I had an opinion when I first started reading this thread, but now I don't know what to think.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-united/10377860/Wilfried-Zaha-seeks-loan-move-away-from-Manchester-United-after-failing-to-make-impact-at-Old-Trafford.html The Telegraph names Newcastle, Fulham and West Ham as interested parties but says at least two others are interested. Would you take him?

If Osvaldo leads Italy at the world cup......

I wouldn't worry about it, Balotelli will come back in. -
Cortese speaking at Leaders in Football conference (10th Oct) - Live Feed
DuncanRG replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
It's always good to hear from him. Don't think I'll be free though, will it be available to watch after the live stream? -
Our quickest attacker around the starting XI, Rodriguez, has also been our least effective by far. Pace doesn't guarantee anything and you don't change a winning team.

Don't think Gimme Shelter's gonna stick. Shame, cause it's a good one and I bet he'd love it. Something else needed!
-
I'll still worry, because they're a better team than us and they're playing at home. We're capable of getting something and no result would surprise me but they haven't become a poor team overnight.
-
I really hope we beat them this season after our horrible luck last year. If we perform and they don't then we'll get the three points but it's anyone's guess how they'll line up after the internationals or how their poor run of form will affect them coming back. I can still hardly believe we came away with two defeats from our games last season.

He's not the best keeper in the league, nor is he matching Niemi in his prime yet, but he's in outstanding form and I'm so glad we've got him between the posts.
-
In a word, no. Dream of Europe for now.

It seems that way to me. Very little contact that I could see as the ball was coming in, but I suppose two wrongs do make a right in this case because it was clearly not a corner in the first place.

Get close and Dyer will skip past him into all the space in the park. Fox has been fine against a difficult opponent.
-
Another goal before half time would be huge, Swansea will come out with fire in their bellies in the second half. Great game so far, some cracking saves from Boruc and the front four are everywhere. I can't remember the last time Lambert was so active in a half.
-
Eh? Dyer is nowhere near Walcott's level

We are not talking about free speech here. The Mail published its article and, as the press and public of a free speaking country, critics are now defeating their ideas with better ideas. That's free debate, and it seems to me that Ed Miliband has won. It remains to be seen whether this will have a lasting effect outside of Westminster. The comparisons with Gordon Brown's letter and 'bigoted woman' remark are hardly worth making, because they were the actions of the Prime Minister and not the teenage diary entries of his long-deceased father. Liddle does make a good point about the lack of balance between left and right though. Conservatives get a lot of crap for their backgrounds.

What on earth makes you say that? He's 22!

We want José Fonte in the Portuguese National Team!
DuncanRG replied to JoséFonte6's topic in The Saints
Interesting to see that Portugese fans actually think he would benefit the side. I'd always assumed he'd never get a look in over Alves and Pepe. -
That's pure conjecture. Besides, when's the last time our best player was also our most expensive? That correlation is rare for any club.
-
I don't think anyone should be disappointed with any top half finish, unless we're on course to finish much higher and collapse at the end of the season.

Daring to dream - What would we need to do to reach the Champions League?
DuncanRG replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
It's really not worth talking about at the moment. What we would need to do is outperform three of United, City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs which is incredibly unlikely. -
Not really. Post-Allardyce problems are always motivation, organisation and tactics.
-
I expect we'll cancel each other out like we did at the Liberty last season. One inspired moment could do it.
-
This is it, really. It is a worry if fitness is still his issue but, as people have been saying for over a year now, he's been overworked for club and country and fatigue is no surprise. I hope the staff can help him work it out.
-
He's on some horrendous beak
-
Congratulations to them.
