Agreed. I'd be the first to say that Alpine has come out with some right rubbish in the past, but people are just jumping on his back for no reason nowadays. Yes he's still being a bit negative, but nothing Alpine is saying is that ridiculous, and it certainly doesn't warrant the abuse he's getting.

Didn't they say when they announced the Birmingham cup tickets that the online system was going to be down for a couple of weeks while it's being upgraded? He's only played 26 games (and 6 as sub) in the past 4 years. He used to be good, but I'd worry what sort of shape he's in these days. Last season Sunderland lost 6, and drew 2 of the 8 games he featured in, including a 7-1 defeat at Everton.
