That's funny, as his chief cheerleader Piers Morgan's main complaint about 'weasel' Cook is that he sat there and stared at the floor while Pietersen was being sacked by England.....

Mark Hughes's phantom goal for the Saints Aug 1999
Scummer replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
It didn't hit the advertising boards. There was a walkway between the goal and the boards, the net wasn't made of elastic... It hit the metal poles which were used to hold additional nets at the side of the goals in the pre match warm up (to stop wayward shots flying into the crowd). They used to take them down before the match and lie them on the ground behind the goal. -
Can't quite see, but it looks like he does a little Cruyff turn at the start of that. Maybe he hasn't changed after all.

It's not 2020 now?
-
Looked at this and unfortunately the 50% off the hotel isn't valid during school holidays.

What's the difference? If we'd had an attack while he was walking along the touchline in his kit, how is the linesman on the other side of the pitch supposed to distinguish between him and our left winger? That's the reason they can't warm up without a bib on. Maybe the answer is for the trainer to have a bib in his bag for injured players to put on, but that wasn't the case here.
-
Isn't there some kind of rule that substitutes aren't allowed to stand near the touchline in their full kit (ie they need to be wearing a bib)? If so, surely the ref either had to let him come across the middle of the pitch, or wait for him to walk all the way round the outside? If you look at it like that, he was actually saving time and the ref should have been praising him not booking him.

It's a load of bull as it's based on the premise that it was our choice to sell the players, when it wasn't. He says it would have been different if they'd been sold out from under Pochettino, ignoring the fact that MP leaving was the catalyst for a lot of the upheaval. He says we shouldn't put a price on Morgan's head, we should just say no to any offers. Um, isn't that what we did?

They are making a film of this, produced by Sam Raimi.

Is Kew Gardens preferable to Richmond? Looks like a good plan as the train journey is much cheaper than other options (using Oyster payg) as that overground route avoids zone 1.

Gaston Ramiez to Hull on Season Long Loan - Official
Scummer replied to NorthamSteve's topic in The Saints
Will be a bit annoying if he helps them finish above us though...... -
They must have a more comfortable bench in Madrid than the one at Old Trafford.
-
Where is Welbeck going? I'd take him.

Kelvin doesn't have lackey's *****ing on the internet about him losing his place in the team either. The whole argument from Irene is ridiculous. Every club needs a backup keeper, they are never going to play very often. It's a shame, but that's life.
-
Seriously, how many goalkeeper shirts do you think we sell? I'd be amazed if it was more than a couple of hundred. Marketing the number 1 doesn't come into it.
-
Not any more you don't. It's being replaced by something else this season.

Women in the 60s/70s seem to have gotten their breasts out more frequently than those in the 80s/90s.
-
Of course it's good for the game. Liverpool, Man U, Arsenal and (shortly) Spurs have been enhanced by our players this window. The EPL only care about the top teams, they have no interest in the smaller clubs.
-
Two weeks time is about four weeks too late though Minty. If they were going to have such a turnover in personnel they needed to do it early, pre season has been wasted. We've got a decent run of fixtures at the start of the season but we're going to **** them up the wall by playing a team who don't know one another.
-
Seems that way. Morgan, Fonte and Jay will all be gone by the end of the window. Starting to come round to the idea that we're in big trouble. We've still got a decent first 11, but we are so weak beyond that and team spirit is going to be non-existent.
-
If Morgan is leaving because the French FA want all their players competing in the Champions League, why the hell would he go to Spurs?
-
It ought to look quite familiar to Americans, and they also aren't averse to the odd silly shirt....
-
An adult Bayern Munich shirt is €79.95. That's just over £63 at today's exchange rate.

So do we think this is a proper bespoke kit, rather than being a rebadged (debadged) kit from another supplier? From the photos it looks like it's well made, with some nice details. Looks like it fits nicely as well. Only just realised that the video is shot using Veho Muvi cameras attached to the players. Nice example of cross-promotion....
-
You're getting a bit moany lately Adrian. Not as bad as Crab Lungs, but you're heading in that direction. Rather than thinking of Sunderland and Stoke, try some of the successful teams who wear stripes. Atletico Madrid for example, or Barcelona. It looks like the kit is quite well fitted as well, which is something else you've been whinging about.....
