Is/was Terry Crump a teacher by any chance? I had a teacher in Horndean by that name.

There was a mother's day special in hospitality. Tea and cakes (and pink sparkling wine) rather than a full meal, for £95. You could have a private box if there were more than 6 of you.

That may have been the case in the past, but nowadays 90% of the budget gets leaked ahead of time.

I don't understand the assumption that safe standing areas would have lower prices. Capacity remains the same under the safe standing model, but clubs have to make an investment in order to install it. I could actually see them charging more for the privilege.

To be fair he wrote it in the singular.

Are we still planning to bring in a CEO?

Recently moved to the Fareham area, and need somewhere local to watch televised matches. Any suggestions, or do I need to head further west?

I preferred this story when it was in the other thread.

Saints long term deal with adidas to be terminated?

I see Everton are going back to Umbro next season and getting a bespoke kit. Thought Umbro were only doing teamwear kits nowadays? -
I'm guessing people know that he was linked to the Real Madrid job before he even came to us? He's very highly regarded in Spain, definitely not the failure that some seem to think. His time at Saints will have only strengthened that reputation. I wouldn't be surprised at all if his next job after us is at one of the big European clubs.

Never sure how that dropped points thing works. On Tuesday did both us and Arsenal drop 2 points? Both teams were leading at one point after all?
-
I actually think now would be a great time to bring players in. Have half a season to ease new players in, getting them used to our style, then come roaring out of the blocks next season.

Agreed. So Brown won the ball. By that reasoning Gaston subsequently won it back before Brown clattered into him. Should have been a foul and a red card.

Do you have to have one adult for each child? Trying to buy online, one adult one senior and three under 11s but it won't let me. Seems a bit stupid, what happens if a dad wants to take his two children?

It tells me that it's the FA Cup this weekend and several of them will be playing for the first team.

CORTESE - a personal and factual view of why Ms Liebherr was right.
Scummer replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
It's interesting in hindsight to look back at all the good publicity we've got in the press for the past few months. It always seemed a bit odd that, after years of ignoring the media, Cortese had gone on a charm offensive. If it's true that he handed in his notice in October, then it was clearly all a calculated attempt by Cortese either to put pressure on Liebherr or to raise his profile and help him get a new job. -
On matchdays there's not a lot of difference at the minute between getting the bus and walking across the bridge.

I took my older son to his first game when he was two I think. It's his 7th birthday today, and he's had a season ticket for the past 3 seasons. Haven't taken the younger one yet (who is nearly 4) but I think I probably will the next time his brother can't make it. We sit in the family enclosure and don't have any problems with bad language etc. I'm probably one of the worst culprits to be honest....

Let's be honest. Less than 750 homes nationwide have so far been bought through this scheme. He came to Southampton for a couple of photo opportunities, the other was at the Vospers site in Woolston which is being redeveloped. How many of those 750 homes will have been in Southampton? She may well be the only one they had to choose from. The fact that she's quite attractive and has a cute little daughter will have also helped.

Is Johnny Heitinga any good? Stronger than any of our current central defenders? http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/25568426

Post Match Reaction: SAINTS 2-3 Aston Villa

Mauricio Pochettino: "The team put in a great effort tonight. I think they did very well. I can't fault my players. We tried as much as we could, but it just wasn't to be tonight." -
The will be loads of empty seats in the family section tonight, my son has a season ticket but he won't be going as it's a schoolnight.

I saw from twitter that Jeremy Clarkson was there with Tiff Needell.
