As per my user name, I don't have a problem with it. Although born in Southampton, I've spent most of my life living in Portsmouth and the surrounding areas. I'm so used to being called a Scummer that I don't think anything of it.

That video Trousers just posted makes the Italian league look really poor. Most of those goals are the result of terrible defending. Not sure what to make of Astori if those are the defenders he's being rated against....

Under 11 prices are a bit stupid. You can buy a Cat A ticket for £10 with one paying adult. If you only have one paying adult for Cat B and C games you pay the U17 price (£16 and £14). So it's cheaper to go to the best games........

Was watching my son play football yesterday and one of the boys had the kit on. It looks ok, but I did notice that you couldn't read the sponsor at all from more than a few metres away. You could barely even see it.

To be fair to them, the bit of land you mention was always where they would extend. Knock that stand down, turn the pitch round, which then creates some space to build a new Milton Road end (the piddly little stand behind the goal). It won't happen of course, but I don't see how this deal prevents any future ground improvements.

I'd have thought they are paying us, not the other way round? Arsenal, Chelsea etc get paid tens of millions by Nike and Adidas. We're not going to be at that level, but effectively Adidas are sponsoring us and they will be paying for the privilege.

The more I look at the photo the more suspicious I am. Saints badge isn't straight, and also looks like it's been photoshopped (blurring round the edges of the Saints badge and the Adidas logo).

The placement of the badge and adidas logo do look a bit odd, but perhaps that's just because it's a childs size.

Did Germany bring it's prices down, or have they always been low? I guess there's a difference between keeping prices stable and actually slashing them, one is easier to do than the other.
