  1. Looking around the stadium on matchday, we seem to have sold loads. So someone must like it.
  2. Think he played centre mid for them at the weekend.
  3. Another two words - Paul Scholes
  4. If only you had the sash kit
  5. We have to register our 25 man squad list with the League a the close of the window, so if he doesn't sign today he won't be on that list. Therefore we could sign him after today but we won't be able to play him.
  6. Interesting speech here which talks about the Apple hypocrisy mentioned above: http://www.ted.com/talks/kirby_ferguson_embrace_the_remix.html
  7. I'd actually say that's quite fair. If they've said tickets go on sale at 9, you shouldn't have to be logging on at stupid o'clock in the morning to get in the queue. It's not really any different to other systems which wouldn't actually let you log on until 9, except this way manages the load on their servers so that they don't lock up when everyone tries to go through the logon procedure at the same time.
  8. I stuck Billy Sharp in mine. Cheap and I reckon he'll come off the bench to score a few late goals.
  9. I loved Appys quotes in The News last night. On the one hand saying how proud he was of the kids who played at Plymouth, but in the next breath stating that by Saturday he hoped to have signed enough players better than them that one or two might make the bench if they were lucky.
  10. I've still got a mug with it on.
  11. Surely there are lots of things that children are told they aren't allowed to do but adults can? Drinking, smoking, ironing, opening the front door, mowing the lawn, etc. I don't see why a child would see it as such a contradiction when seen alongside a lot of other rules they are taught to adhere to but adults partake in. Oh yeah, my kids aren't allowed to **** the babysitter either.
  12. What about shouting at children? Do people see that as wrong? In my experience kids find being shouted at pretty scary, probably more so than a smack on the bum.
  13. It's a brand new event, the record will go pretty much every time they race.
  14. I'm sure it doesn't help that the people who actually own/run the site hardly ever seem to be on here themselves these days. If they've lost interest themselves it can't help the standards of moderation.

  16. I'd say Chaplow is far more likely to leave than Hammond.
  17. It's not. A meal deal is normally a sandwich, a drink, and EITHER a bar of chocolate OR a bag of crisps. As to why people eat crisps, surely the answer is simple. They taste nice. There are also plenty of other more 'sophisticated' food items which also aren't particularly good for you, but people don't seem to criticise them.
  18. I hope you realise what a patronising and up your own arse comment that was.
  19. I guess there must be a shortage of incredibly attractive, millionaire, private jet and helicopter owning men around at the moment? Probably the fault of the eurozone crisis.
  20. Good blog about it here: http://bizzybiz.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/50-heaves-of-puke.html

    Yellow 3rd kit

Pretty sure there have been games over the past couple of seasons where away clubs have worn red and/or white kits at St Mary's. I remember being surprised as I'd have thought it was a clash, but the powers that be obviously felt differently.
  22. I agree. I'm 36 and have always had a pack of crisps for lunch, so this isn't a new thing. God-knows how long ago norwaysaint emigrated, but I assume it must have been at least 30 years ago?
  23. I quite like it actually. Looks quite classy. Think it will look good on the pitch, unlike a lot of club shirts which look cheap.
  24. They aren't enforcing the law until November, so you don't need to bother this summer. Oh and yes viamichelin is good for route planning.
  25. I wonder how many Final 10 packages we sold anyway? Given that there wasn't a lot of value in buying one, I'd be surprised if it was more than a couple of hundred. There must still be about half the stadium available to move into.
