Jim Smith didn't leave until after the end of the season, he was still here when we got relegated.

After 16 games (9 matches ago) we were 16th in the table, level on points with the 17th and 18th placed teams. Today we are still 16th, but we've opened up a 3 point gap on the relegation zone. That would indicate that our current form has been plenty good enough to avoid relegation.

United have had a few odd results in recent years, losing at home to supposedly inferior teams.

So can we blame Palace for the fact that we've been pronouncing his name incorrectly for the last 3 years?

Yeah and I think that's what the guy meant when he said current stands are unsuitable. For safe standing you need lots of quite shallow steps. We have fewer, steeper steps in most all seater stadiums. It's the type of thing that might be feasible if we were redeveloping the ground anyway, but otherwise the cost would be prohibitive.

Think that rumour related to Lee Bradbury.

He's in our 25 man squad. He was on a 3 month loan, which has now expired. Therefore by default he's back in the squad now. I'd be very surprised if we saw him playing for the first team again.

Sash kit would have old more if it wasn't for the fact that they'd sold out by about September and didn't get any more stock for months, by which time the kit was nearing the end of its life. Still wish I'd been able to get hold of a sash shirt.
