But I don't think 10/3 is that realistic either, given the difference in resources and ability to deal with inury/form slumps/etc. But again, I'll gladly eat my words and my hat should we make it.

I would say there's a one in a million chance we'll make top 4 this season. But even if we do (and it would be brilliant), there is no chance in hell we'd make it back to back.

I want to be optimistic but after watching them toy with West Ham it's tough to have hope. There's about as much a gulf between them and us as there was between us and Palace. I reckon we can compete OK, but they have enough quality EVERYWHERE to turn us over. No shame if we lose by 2 or 3.

Pretty much this. It is amazingly similar. And I'm not going to complain if we finish 8th again either. We had bad performances last year as well. Cardiff at home for example. It happens. Burnley away, Everton at home, and then Palace away. Play as we did last night, with more clinical finishing, and that's 9 points. If that happens we'll be forgetting about the past week pretty quickly. We should be getting at least 5 from those games to be honest.
