  1. yep.. almost 4 times as much. PL - £72 (peacock) Championship - £78 (espn+) & £170 (SaintsPlay) = £248
  2. American here. Why can't they spell these things out in plain English? the international £170 "deal".. does that mean you have access to a live stream of all matches that skysports/espn+ is not broadcasting? I know us Americans have been spoiled, but the last decade, we could access to all PL matches for about £72 a year. edit.... i guess this answers my question... from the FAQs... Q: How many matches does an international seasonal pass give access to and why do the rules on showing matches vary in different territories? A: It depends on the EFL games selected for broadcast in your territory. Any matches selected for TV broadcast in your territory will be unavailable to view through Saints Play.
  3. uh... you know, if he is going to have a good season that increases his value, let's have it with the Saints and not some other club.
  4. Would the Lavia sale be the biggest transfer fee for a player ever from a club relegated from the PL? I know Nathan Ake went for £41m a few years back from relegated Bournemouth.
  5. If... if things go as planned. will likely be a lot of movement in late, late August.
  6. his YouTube highlight reel is amazing.
  7. He doesn't deserve anything. Far too good for us? He was a key member of a squad that got relegated. Now was he the best of the bunch? Sure. If we don't need the money, why not keep him on and have him help us get promoted? Why is it the club's responsibility to sell him to a club/league that he/others may think he deserves to be playing at?
  8. is that available to supporters in the Unites States?
  9. and ruin our potential 13 game winless streak to finish out the season? madness!
  10. I am glad that at least our relegation is fully deserved and only the club has itself to blame. i would have dropped dead from rage if it had come down to some horrible VAR decision.
  11. i really really hope Newcastle and Man U each pick up a point midweek. I really really dont want this match to mean anything to Liverpool.
  12. not that this should be a surprise anyone, but we allow goals like crazy. in that little 4 match purple patch we had at the beginning of Selles tenure we had 3 clean sheets, and not uncoincidentally 7 points W Chelsea 0 : 1 Southampton L Leeds 1 : 0 Southampton W Southampton 1 : 0 Leicester D Manchester United 0 : 0 Southampton Since then.. 11 matches, 2 points and 0 clean sheets
  13. can we get a Trophy made for that? 🤪
  14. https://sports.yahoo.com/luton-town-currently-wont-allowed-110948371.html Luton Town currently won't be allowed to play Premier League football if they get promoted Luton Town have to pay £10m in stadium refurbishments to abide by Premier League rules
  15. Would be a wonderful cap to the season if we bring Tino back the last two games and he scores 2 goals and an assist, and PL club get reminded of his quality and start inquiring.
  16. this should be a discussion on who we don't want to compete against next season. Luton had the 3rd most points, so i will assume they were the 3rd best team. I hope they get promoted.
  17. A replica t-shirt that fit perfectly 10 years ago, but not so much now. It's all in the details!
  18. way to step on your dicks, Saints. We win that game tonight and the table stands as below with 3 matches left: Everton 32 (next match - City) Leicester 30 (next match - Liverpool) Leeds 30 (next match - Newcastle) Forest 30 (next match - Chelsea) Saints 27 (next match - Fulham) lots of losable matches for our rivals, but we cant win, so the argument is moot.. but still...
  19. Forest have scored 10 goals in their last 4 matches. Wonder what that is like!
  20. it's probably best for him and the club if he moves on. in this 9 match stretch where we needed to push for survival he has been MIA 1 goal (and that was a penalty kick) 0 assists 3 total points
  21. needless to say... when you have 13 matches left in a relegation battle, getting 3 points from 27 in the first 9 matches is not a recipe for staying up. our survival was there for the taking and we did not seize it.
