    Puel out

I don't quite get the part where you say, Katrina restructured against her own estate. Its her frigging business and like my own business I would add my own private funds if need be. All she has done is add funds from other assets to probably her now most profitable one. Yes we all would like self funding assets, the self funding part means from us of course, we pay £45 for shirts, £30 for shorts, high s/t charges and watch our quality players sold. It is no charitable contribution by the loan, it is keeping her very profitable asset going. I understand it is hers and she can do as she likes, but it seems to me that some want to make it seem she is doing something special by restructuring when it is just protecting the very good asset.
  2. i wasnt at the game but the bits I saw on tv showed him to be the major influence, the problem being if Austin iswell marked there is little other threat. Redmond does not deserve to be the player who takes the stick.
  3. Redmond is a decent player and with patience become a very good player. The fans could be a factor fo holding him back by putting him under pressure.

    Puel out

is it the manager or was it the total complancency in the summer not getting 1 or 2 players in to replace the 33 goals sold off. Also does Reed get commission/bonus on profits of players sold, I know managers used to.
  5. It seems to me Jose has not been the player he was since his Euro success and the apparent interest from Man U. It is about time the players spent a couple of weeks working alongside the fans that adore them, see how they have to live so that they can get in their 10+ year old cars and chug up to away games, making sacrifices to pay for tickets , fuel food to get t matches and then see the players they adore not bother to play and then moan as they cant get a wage rise on the contracts they signed at 40k+ a week.
  6. whilst agree we should have invested in more players, its easy to pic the ones who have joined clubs and done ok. Many of the big buys are flops.
  7. Charlie on a totally different subject, why have you Sir Hugh Dowding as your avatar?
  8. Not cup tied I assume, makes him more desirable for clubs in Europe so we can get more dosh I assume
  9. we didnt do enough business in the summer to be able to fight on 3 fronts. If we get through on Thursday in the Europa all things will lokk rosy again and we can stop doing quite so much rotation

  11. Im reading this thread and watching Sky at the same time, it is amazing how the 2 seem to being played on different planets. Sky positive while on here lol
  12. Koeman is Dutch lol
  13. after his humiliation by Sims on sunday and the Everton fans not happy, I wouldnt be surprised if a few are thrown in
  14. I dont think he will end up at Everton, but their interest is there
  15. The special grass must have an impact as well. Surely all the teams who go to FP must revel playing on real grass, it obviously lifts their game.
  16. VVD will go, it is now the usual unsettling period when the clubs use journos to show their interest and unsettle players. Everton interest is probably very true and I diid see that VVD talks regularily to RK!!
  17. Happy birthday , I was told by a friend of his that he hasnt been too well recently
  18. I totally understand the concept and if you are out to pocket money then that is the way, but if the club could actually build a team that won things perhaps we would then be the club players wanted to join for glory not a leg up to better things. Whilst it is nice seeing our players develop into top players at our club. there might be a day when we have to boo every club that visits due to them buying our players. We already have Libverpool,ManU,Spurs,Everton
  19. apt name of the forum as they are a grand old team, most of them seem to be in their 30;s
  20. are you implying that left wingvoters don't have a mind of their own and so rely on the right wing media to make up their minds. A lot of the time the major broadcasters seem very left wing to me......funny old world As I mentioned earlier in the thread that it is odd that now the election is over that the BBC etc are not reporting on the endless flow of refugees hitting Europe.
  21. I suppose it depends on the starting position of each club. We finished 6th and had 50m in, as well as further surplusses in the past. The blatant weakinging of the squad, especially in the goalscoring department may well cost us in all competitions
  22. I thought you'd be brighter than that.
  23. Have you ever played football? Whilst i agree playing 3 games over a 2 week period should not be a major problem but for 8 months it is
  24. I for 1 am not blaming Puel. I believe he will play a strong side in the last game to get the result we need. Many questioned the lack of signings to replace the quality that left, all the nonsense that Charlie was signed as Pelle was leaving was always a nonsense as we were short of forward back up even when he arrived. The case is that Puel has to try and protect the major players as our squad is thin of quality. When he joined he did say he was happy with the squad we had, but as his position was not strong he had to toe the club line. Lets wait and see what happens in the next game and see if we progress through, then last night will be forgotten
