We couldn't beat the worst Man U side I have seen in over 45 years of watching Saints. I think the club need to smash that black box as it produces more dunces than gems. I don't like picking on players but for a 10m pound keeper who doesn't come out of the 6 yard box to collect or kick the ball clear is poor. add to that having 2headless chickens up front and a 12 m non goal scorer ( I do like his endeavour though)

If Reed did indeed say that he is not being truthful Imo. Whilst there were rumours of players leaving we were not at the stage of seeing the sales as they were.there is no way fans were hurling comments as is portrayed. No doubt fans were calling for the club to keep the manager and players together

Football is a funny old game, I thought Victor was better than most of our players

City are a very good side when they play like they did today. We helped them with so many poor touches and lack of movement. Let's hope we have sme players lined up to strengthen a bit in Jan. Well the lack of depth of squad will be telling. i have now seen us twice in a week and both games we have been very poor. Iwas going to go last minute today but thankfully I have my£40 still in my pocket. Nervous for the first 25minutes, fortunate not to have a penalty against us. Tadic very poor and our delivery of the ball frustrating. every team has a poor spell, let's hope ours is now over. Long did look lively and shock us up a bit

International week hangover. A good reason why I don't care if ours get picked. Villa played 10 back in a home game! They got lucky scoring as had we scored first they were finished. Terrible tactics by a home club but it worked for them. i felt we would get a result even as the game went on. it did underline how thin the squad is as I couldn't see much on the bench to change things. Normally we have Long or Mane to come on.

It has never failed to amuse me the term ' scummer' . The stupid kid at school would always resort to a made up name that they thought sounded like abuse eg spasmo etc. Being called a scummer never worries me as it reflects more on the the person shouting the insult.
