the good thing is that SFC gets some recognition. I cant recall LM having much to do with the playing side when Bale was there.I thought he was more into the corporate entertaining part.
-
F'sure I was and now we are down to the bare bones, I would have got a shedload of players in F'sure

i dont care about Brightons squad as they seem to have been 10 points clear the majority of the season. Had they been in our position they may well of dipped into the market as well as getting Noone. We got our own No-one but not the Plymouth one. I wish for the cards to be fully stacked in our favour, i truly hope that my concerns are not well founded and we cruise to promotion. The weekend will tell us a lot.
-
yep and another 5 in case they get injured. of course they all must not in any way be a target man to cover for the most important player we have up front. They have alos to be injury prone and at the start or end of their careers
-
Adkins mind games did not work, and now it will be used by brighton to wind them up to play hard against us. Our squad has the chance to prove NA right and so should play well to beat them. Personally Id take a point now. perhaps we should spend the majority of the gtame wasting time , much like they did when they came here. They were petrified to go over the halfway line that night.

Yep I was happy having Chaplow in. If RL gets injured what then?
-
you should stop your arrogance and stop calling people morons. You may be happy having Gobern and players who are at the end of their careers and injury prone holding our hopes of promotion others are not. As for your embarrassment that we have spent a lot Lol. I have no embarrassment as Im sure Man Utd Liverpool Barcelona etc dont when they wipe the floor with other clubs for decades. You may rest on your HOPE that the reserves can hold their nerve at the most important part of the season, but i dont believe we should have to be in the position. If the club had spent to ensure promotion (after all Im sure many have told me on numerous occasions that we are wealthy), getting in players of the quality that will hold us in good stead if we do go up to the next level. We have been crying out for cover right through the spine of the team. So before you point your finger calling people who have rightful concerns about being a moron you should perhaps look in the mirror

i know how you feel Alps, I was scoffed at when i kept calling for some players to be brought in during the windows. If anything happens to (RL Please no) we are really in trouble. Complacency regarding our squad has been a been mistake IMO. Huddersfield kept their nerve when we were chasing them last season, i hope we can do the same to them this season.

I thought that MKDons McKenzie would be a good player to get. He was tough and determined.
-
did Cotteril mention how few players he has? I notice Claridge stuck up for them on the League shownsaying Rocha should not have been sent off if the Cardiff player didnt. Well Steve the Cardiff player stood where he was and Rocha approached him aggressivily and put his head into the Cardiff player.

do you sit in the Northam in one of the lower rows, as there is a bloke who is at Lambert all game. -
Hardly massive experience, and Pompey are nopt a good example of brilliant European feats, and HR's spurs should have been walloped ,even agianst the Young Boys they were 3 down in 20minutes.Tactical brilliance. I think Poyet cold do a good job, opinions

any person taking on the NHS is in trouble. Like all big organisations there is a lot of waste. Too many people are worried about their jobs at the top to make brave decisions. Personally i want a good health service that is free to those entitled to it. At the same time i dont wish to have the mickey taken by the staff
-
you have a cunning plan. Let the whole squad be out of contract and so the bulldozers can roll in without any payout.
-
HR, CL winning manager then. i missed that somewhere. I dont think any of the top 4 would contemplate him but IMO Spurs might, if not them another PL side could well take the plunge.
-
yeah also how he hangs from the bar and swings at the ball with his feet just like he has seen done on the table football game.
-
IMO Spurs are a possibility, dont think Chelsea though
-
if you think that Poyet would not jump at the chance of going to a top PL side then you are kidding yourself. BHA have done wonders and I for 1 expected you to wobble but no you have been consistantly good all season. A pathetic time wasting tactical game at SMS did you no service but i suggest NA's comments made us look arrogant and over confident. (hardly Fergie type remarks turning the screw) Poyet will look at your lovely 22000 seat stadium and see that it may not yeild the expectations he may have of his own ambition. i have no venom to fire at BHA as i have acquaintances who are fans but find the hatred of SFC a bit bizarre. I was there when we played Spurs all those years ago and i suspect had mullery's team been in the same position he would have played out a draw, why risk promotion by trying to win when it suited both to draw.

Gaydamek is Russian, these boys are Russian, the father allegedly is an arms dealer. Many roads lead to these men and i wonder if there is a link so that they can get hold of the land. I have become so cynical. Years ago i really believed that we did not live in a corrupt society in the UK. The Pompey saga has shown that it was naive to believe so. (I must admit i had realised this many years before but the way they have so publicly taken the Michael has really reinforced my cynicism)

surely he posts every day, he assured us he didn't only post when he had something to brag about lol. He will be back when/if we fail to go up
-
im surprised as i thought Palce saw Chalton as their rivals. Brighton have a promblem knowing who their rivals really are they cant make their mind up, that's women for you
-
One defeat will not define our season, but the lack of getting more players in the transfer/loan windows could be a major mistake. Iam one of the few who called for more players to be brought in. If Fonte or RL get injured you can kiss goodbye to the Championship. We have no effective cover. it is all very well getting a kid in from Oldham but to rely on him or Gobern to make our midfield strong and effective is fanciful.
-
Yep well done, Poyet must be a fabulous manager and will be Spurs manager soon

Rochdale 2 - 0 Southampton - Post Match Reaction
OldNick replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
that is a concern for me, the JCL's will not have the patience the fans have had recently. The togetherness we have had may be diluted. it will be a nervy game and Rovers will be fighting for their lives. We need to be extra clinical to get a goal early to settle us.
