  1. I liked the fact that he talks to Lez Rid a lot, and will try and keep Deyhan.
  2. I thought it was Independant Television News.
  3. A good post and a very compelling argument. I had not thought of this and this, in theory, could lead to a much stronger team, with Koeman having the ability to get the right pegs to fit the holes, rather than trying to fit the pegs he has. Also good to see someone use their head for more than 'lets moan about moanings sake.'
  4. What a load of crap, twaddle, horse maure, sheeite, ****** and various other references to rubbish. Sorry and all that.
  5. Wtf is she on about? American football is a poor mans rugby, basketball is a British invention, as is baseball and the number of people who watch the World Cup number in the hundreds of millions! Typical American centric crap from someone who has never watched the game I suspect.
  6. I see your point, worthwile but slightly glass half full. I think circumstances have forced this rather than planned action. And don't worry about those with the attention of a goldfish, good way to try and get your point across.
  7. I'm sorry, Doctor Bearsy, I bought the stuff off of the tinternet @ £3, tab.
  8. I've been trying to post for 4 hours, it's annoying working off of a dongle. According to my source, Lucius, (yes, we'll call him that today), Man U put in a 30 mill offer for Luke Shaw. They were met with a curt, fargoff. raised it to 32 Still fargov Suggested 37 Told to go away as staff are preparing for the England game tonight. BUT, Lucius has some paperwork to ponder over regarding four of our players if the offer is acceptable, but nothing will supposedly happen for at least two weeks, if not longer. But the prices of some will go through the roof. On the table, three at the back, three in the middle, two up the front have all had speculation around them, but had big fat 'thanks for asking, not at this time' thrown back to the clubs.
  9. Do you know, I honestly believe that if we had the 10 best outfielders in the world, Roy would put Rooney in goal as he has to play him. I would say come on boys, play for pride of representing your country, but half that team have none. Drop Rooney and Gerrard. To those that say that Rooney was almost our saviour against Uraguay, I say that he should ahve sunk HALF of the chances he was given, and 2 of them I feel Rickie would have done. **** them. Give the youth a chance, and those that haven't played and lets have some fun, and really look to punish Costa Rica. Although, based on their last few performances, I wouldn't rate them to beat Costa Coffee
  10. No he didn't. He asked her sister for the threesome.
  11. I have only read a few posts, but I agree with 9-3. Doesn't matter if your politics are against it, it's a way to show your pride in your nation. For year Rooney, Ashley Cole and John Terry never sung it at all. Sing it loud, and sing it proud. I today am an Englishman, I am proud to represent my country, it is AN HONOUR to represent my country, the hopes of millions are with me, and I will show how proud I am. But I do agree that Jerusalem might be a better choice.
  12. I agre with this, too
  13. Agree with that
  14. thats it. 10 mins to go, but we've lost this 2-1.
  15. I enjoyed his commentary. Especialy when he said: Ross Barcklay...mmmmmmmmmmmmmm......Di Rossi....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......Technical area.....mmmmmmmmmmmmmm..........end of the game, zzzzzzzzzzzzt.....SONY..mmmmm,....gherm...mmin the middel...purple monkey dishwasher.
  16. Nah. By the time Jay Rod yelled, ' Bernard Anício Caldeira Duarte, pass to me,' he would have overun the goal and be in the stands.
  17. I would be happy with a red head. No body, just a red head.
  18. Sorry, as I understand it, he says there are 17 enquiries for our players and we have made 7 enquiries of other players from other teams. Enquiries don't equal transfers though, and he only has 3 things on his desk at the moment related to SFC.
  19. He's working on 3 out at the moment, and i'm guessing they are more surplus to requirements.
  20. Nice one Guam, good to hear. I can confirm what he is saying about not discussing transfers, my pal ITK answers his personal phone to me with, 'Hi, I aint saying nothing about transfers, what's on your mind' and wont answer his business phone to me at all. Job is worth too much. What he will say is that 17 inquires in, and 7 inquiries out and they are working on 3 at the moment, 'which are expected but not talkes about'. But his friend is better than mine in this.
  21. A couple of other things you forgot Frank. Mind Reading, and Prediction of the Future.
  22. and I read that as: When the new manager is in place we'll see who he wants to keep and who he wants to ged rid off and who he wants to buy. So,generally, no one is being bought and sold until we have a new manager, except Rickie who, when given the chance to play for his boyhood team, before he can no longer play, it would be ****ty not to let him go.
  23. No,no and thrice no. When did they know for sure he was leaving, 100 %? - yesterday Who would commit to leaving their job before knowing they had another one? - no one. Ponch didn't hand in his notice 2 weeks ago and wait for Spurs to give him a new one. What does the new season start - on monday? No , on the 16th August, in 2 1/2 months time Is there a perspective manager at the World Cup that could do a job for us? - Wh knows Is there a manager at the moment that could do a job for us that would commit now there is a position open? - Who knows Have we been actively looking for a new manager? - Probably not as we had one Are we now? - Probably as we don't have one Would an experience business person out of their depth in a field they know nothing about waste money making mistake after mistake? - Not bloody likely So, what would said business person out of their depth in a field they know nothing about do, then? - Buy in the expertise, and more expertise, and listen to those that know, weigh up their advice and process in a business like manner. What would said business person say to their stakeholder if accused of a lack of communication in this situation say? - You knew, via the website, what had happened BEFORE the press, the pundits, those that proclaim to be in the know, before the fans of Spurs, before the radio, before the websites, before Twitter and before Jack Cobley's uncle Tom. AND Before Dave Paech and MLT. AND Before Cortese. AND after he handed in his notice, and before he posted on the website and twitter. Apart from that, how much openess do you want. What would said business person say to their stakeholder today, in a way of openess? - We are looking for a new manager. And tomorrow - We are looking for a new manager And on Friady? - We are looking for a new manager And on Saturday? - We are looking for a new manager Any comment on Sunday? - No, it's a day of rest. What about Monday? - We are looking for a new manager. And Katey, the tea lady is having cakes in the staff room at dinnertime to celebrate her 50th Birthday. What about Tuesday 3rd June? - We are looking for a new manager, and we are arranging a Birthday celebration for Victor Wanyama and will fly it out to him for the 25th june. No Yaya mistakes here. What would said business person say to their stakeholder if asked,How long will you be looking for a new maanger? - How long is a peice of string? Until we get one. Are there any applicants at the moment? - Who knows. Perhaps they should put an advert in the Echo, or go to an agency, to hurry it up. Or perhaps they should take a bit of time, find a few that fit in with us, get some feedback, ask them in for an interview if interested, find the right person and appoint them. Vote of no confidence? They are a business, and will go about all this in a business like manner, like all German/Swiss business do, and will look to have someone in place when they can. I have confidence in them. You can't keep someone here against their will, and if you did, what sort of job would they do? And that goes for ALL the players of the team.
  24. Well, we all knew this was coming. Thanks MOPO, good luck, and thanks for all you have done. Onwards and upwards, (hopefully)
  25. Clyne......to Man U......for 99 million. Deal.
