Word on the street from Huggy Bear, cousin to Bearsy is there is new five year plan in the offing. Year one - Relegation from the Premiership. Sell a few more players and keep the parachute payment. Replace with 16 year old acadamy players Year Two - Relegation from the Championship Spend 5 million in League one to get the best and brightest from League one and Championship. Win League one, (as daddy, and that nasty little man, didn't do that) and the Johnstones Paint Trophy (just to Equal daddy) Year Three - Promotion to the Championship as Champions of League 1. Spend 20 million on the best and the brightest that we don't already own to go with the best and brightest from League One Year Four - Promotion to the Premiership as Champions of the Championship, (daddy and that horrible little oik didn't do that either) Spend 40 million to stay in the Premiership and finish above 17. Use 16 year old acadamy players to bolster team. Year Five - Sell,Sell, Sell Those players that set us back 5 million are worth at least 60 million, the players that cost 20 million must be woth 60 million also, and the 40 million players will break even so, 100 million now 100 million + 6 million + 4 million = 110 million Spend 65 million = 45 million in the bank 45 million plus 140 million is 185 million. A tidy profit and no mistake. But there will be no more fans except a loyal two to three humdread, but what does it matter, they are not the primary revenue stream any more. There you go, football club management as taught by the Dell Boy school of Managing yer actual footty ball Club.

You're one of those people that winge about roadworks and that it should be done at night, when 90 % of roadworks are done at night. Get a grip. There were two choices. 1) The player wnats to leave so get a very good price for him, inflated even. We are quids in and can replace as well. 2) Make the player stay here. They won't play for us ever again,(literally and figuratively) until their contract runs out and they leave on a free, and IF you make them play, what sort of shift will they put in? AND you will have to replace them as they are playing ****e, so that costs, plus paying two sets of wages. Loss of quite a bit of cash. BUT, we can still say that Lallana and Shaw and Louvren play for us, or should that be they are Southampton players.

'And can't believ it. Where was Lamberts head? A quick pass from Shneiderland to David and into the box and Rickie Lambert must have forgotten his transfer as he slips it passed Brad Jones to give Saints a 3-2 lead in the 92nd minute. Brendan Rodgers has a last roll of the dice taking Lallana off for Steve Gerrard. There are boos from all four corners of St Mary's standium as Lallana walks off, not knowing who to applaud. And we are off again, and Wanyama takles Graard on the half way line a slips it to Ward Prowse, who moves up the field. And it's over to Jay Rodriguez who scores a shocking long range shot from outside the area. Louvren, another former Saint, is waving for off side but it looks like Louvren and Toure got confused and actually played Rodriguez on side. And that's it, that's the Dutch cap on the day, Southampton walk away the winners today 4-2. Koeman's first Southampton press conference 11/7/14
Secret Site Agent replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
First impressions? Came across well, answered questions straight forward and honestly, wish he had said something like, 'Suarez ish a shaintz player? rilly?' just as a wind up, but aswered the questions honestly. Good to hear about Pelle, guess Koey is close to him. Answered about Ossie that he wasn't here when all the shi'ite happened between him and Fonte, and he has a contract, so needs to come back. Seems he's dealing with what he has and will take control on btransfers now. -

I liked the fact that he talks to Lez Rid a lot, and will try and keep Deyhan. -

The Flip Side - Very Compelling Project For Koeman
Secret Site Agent replied to Gemmel's topic in The Saints
A good post and a very compelling argument. I had not thought of this and this, in theory, could lead to a much stronger team, with Koeman having the ability to get the right pegs to fit the holes, rather than trying to fit the pegs he has. Also good to see someone use their head for more than 'lets moan about moanings sake.' -
What a load of crap, twaddle, horse maure, sheeite, ****** and various other references to rubbish. Sorry and all that.

Wtf is she on about? American football is a poor mans rugby, basketball is a British invention, as is baseball and the number of people who watch the World Cup number in the hundreds of millions! Typical American centric crap from someone who has never watched the game I suspect.

I see your point, worthwile but slightly glass half full. I think circumstances have forced this rather than planned action. And don't worry about those with the attention of a goldfish, good way to try and get your point across.

I'm sorry, Doctor Bearsy, I bought the stuff off of the tinternet @ £3, tab.

I've been trying to post for 4 hours, it's annoying working off of a dongle. According to my source, Lucius, (yes, we'll call him that today), Man U put in a 30 mill offer for Luke Shaw. They were met with a curt, fargoff. raised it to 32 Still fargov Suggested 37 Told to go away as staff are preparing for the England game tonight. BUT, Lucius has some paperwork to ponder over regarding four of our players if the offer is acceptable, but nothing will supposedly happen for at least two weeks, if not longer. But the prices of some will go through the roof. On the table, three at the back, three in the middle, two up the front have all had speculation around them, but had big fat 'thanks for asking, not at this time' thrown back to the clubs.

Do you know, I honestly believe that if we had the 10 best outfielders in the world, Roy would put Rooney in goal as he has to play him. I would say come on boys, play for pride of representing your country, but half that team have none. Drop Rooney and Gerrard. To those that say that Rooney was almost our saviour against Uraguay, I say that he should ahve sunk HALF of the chances he was given, and 2 of them I feel Rickie would have done. **** them. Give the youth a chance, and those that haven't played and lets have some fun, and really look to punish Costa Rica. Although, based on their last few performances, I wouldn't rate them to beat Costa Coffee

No he didn't. He asked her sister for the threesome.

I have only read a few posts, but I agree with 9-3. Doesn't matter if your politics are against it, it's a way to show your pride in your nation. For year Rooney, Ashley Cole and John Terry never sung it at all. Sing it loud, and sing it proud. I today am an Englishman, I am proud to represent my country, it is AN HONOUR to represent my country, the hopes of millions are with me, and I will show how proud I am. But I do agree that Jerusalem might be a better choice.
-
I agre with this, too
-
Agree with that

thats it. 10 mins to go, but we've lost this 2-1.

The Players We Should Sign From This WC
Secret Site Agent replied to Noodles34's topic in The Saints
Nah. By the time Jay Rod yelled, ' Bernard Anício Caldeira Duarte, pass to me,' he would have overun the goal and be in the stands. -
I would be happy with a red head. No body, just a red head.
-
Sorry, as I understand it, he says there are 17 enquiries for our players and we have made 7 enquiries of other players from other teams. Enquiries don't equal transfers though, and he only has 3 things on his desk at the moment related to SFC.
-
He's working on 3 out at the moment, and i'm guessing they are more surplus to requirements.
