We've been good enough until now. We are the ones who stood cheering when playing teams like Dagenham in league one when we might not have a team to cheer the following year. We are the ones who stood cheering when we took the points against Brighton who had never been beaten at home that season. We are the ones that stood cheering when we got so close to winning the Championship but sang 'We are going up'. We are the ones who kept the club going in it's darkest times. We may be shabby, underdressed, overweight, with our beer bellies hanging out, face a little unshaven, hair unkept and breath less than minty, but WE are the ones that Lambert, Lallana, David, Fonte,Schneiderlin and others played for, and who cheered them to give them the belief that they could succeed back to the Premiership. If what you want is the team to be supported by a load of fiona phillipses, I am a Southampton Supporter,I am a Southampton Supporter,I am a Southampton Supporter,(relegation)I am a Chelsea Supporter,Then to paraphrase a famous rapper, Give me one European season, then **** Saints, you can have them back. If I'm no longer the fan Saints want, then perhaps they aren't the team for me., But until then, I'll carry out turning up. My beauty, like everyone elses, is skin deep.

Coxford lou, please don't judge the majority based on the minority trolls and keyboard warriors who think shouting loudest and longest is the way to get their point across and win an agrument. I just use humour to disarm them and/or ignore them. Please feel free to do the same. Keep coming back, and don't feed the trolls.

Post Match Reaction: Manchester United 1-1 SAINTS
Secret Site Agent replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Miss the first half, but cought the second on stream. Really enjoyed the second hafl, we never stopped fighting and deserved a point, even three. Onto Fulham, where I think we can do the do. And Ossie NEEDS to come out of his shell, with a kick up the backside. And Lallana for Engerland plus five -
United going for all out for the winner. Time to nip one ourselves.

I mooned his abode in Sandbanks back in June whilst on a stag do, from the window of a stretch limosine, which gave me a quiet satisfaction. And i will read his Ghost Written tome, but will if possible get a downloaded copy as I don't wish to give him any cash:lol: Or pehaps buy it in the bargain bin after a couple of weeks, as he may need the 50p. Or wait until it's in the charity shop, then the money can go to a good cause, like the Old Dogs Home. It what Rosie would have wanted. I do think that they should have made him England Manager. Then the whole of England could hate him as much as we do.

I agree. You watch rugby players going hell for leather and when obstructed or tripped, they try hard to keep to their feet as there is no benefit to going down, just getting as much territory as possible. They look too much these days to going down when they feel something in thehope of gaining an advantage. If you intrduced retrospective fines and sanctions for any diving caught on TV screens they would soon start to try and keep their balance.

I think they should smoke a pipe....whilst playing, like in the old days. I remeber during the twenties when you could avoid a yellow card if you offered the fouled player one of your woodbines. And at half time players going into the opponents dressing room and having discussions on kierkegaard and wittgenstein over a brandy and a choice cigar. 'If people never did silly things nothing intelligent would ever get done.'

Post Match Reaction & MotM: SAINTS 2-0 Crystal Palace

Today we played a straight 4-4-2. I think this is ponch trying to make it easier for them to gel, by having a formation that suits both. Rickie has been out of sorts since playing for England. Onto the match. Great start to the second half, first we were a litle flat and apprehensive i think, playing the scrappy CP game, but come the second half, cometh the man/men. Glad to see Ossie of to his first goal, and hopefully the start of him banging them in, and Rickie back to the set piece king. 4th in the table? Can't be right surely........My missus reckons that the if our last 4 years were a game of Football manager, I would be moaning about it being unrealistic. The future's bright. The futures red and.........these is some white bits in there, i think. -
I'm glad you got in before soemone started quoting the Little Mermaid.

Now be fair, everyone. A spokesman for the Qatari FA has just been on the radio to explain the postiion: 'Qatar won it, fair and square. So all the other countries can lick my camels dangly parts. And it is true that we can't have it in the summer as it's too hot, so we will have it in the winter, to suit all you infidel dogs. And all this crap about our infrastructure not being up to it. 2022 is a long way away, and we have time to build and if our infrastructure isn't ready, why we will just host it somewhere else. Like England. They have a pretty good infrastructure, i saw it in a video a few years ago.'

Rickie Lambert - England Qualifiers
Secret Site Agent replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Well done Rickie, proving them wrong and Woy right again. He has a role now, i think, and that can't be denied. 2 caps, 2 goals and 2 assists. And no mention of the beetroot factory either. -

I was one of those -
Oh yes, you get a +1 from me. My son was treated like the scum of the Earth. It was suggested that we, the 'Parents' were to blame for being educationally sub-normal, and leading him to be the same. But Mr Teacher, not only do I have some education, I have more qualifications than you. And if we, his parents are to blame, how come his Sister is top in all her classes, (she now has a masters degree in Media and Advertising). And why is it after spending £600 we couldn't really afford on extra tuition was the private tutor able in 8 weeks able to raise his reading level by 2 years, when you could even do that in 8 months? Sorry, a little bitter i'm afraid. Two sides to every coin.

I fought the LEA back in the early 90's over my son, as he has Aspergers, and in those days it was in it's infancy, (I paid many hundreds of pounds to get him diagnosed and he appears in the text books now) because he was being forced to only attend school in the mornings, as they labelled him a 'naughty little boy'. The day I informed the school that he was attending full time, they excluded him. Treated us like carp because it would open the flood gates if they educated him correctly, they just wanted to stick him in an exclusion unit and forget all about him. Sued the LEA, the school and they ruined his education. It galls me now that the type of education he needed, they give out freely now. I know because my Mrs works in a school giving this sort of support. There are toe rags out there, and there are bad parents as well, some of them are only children themselves, but soemtimes it's the easy option for schools rather than tackling the problem. They concentrate on educating those that can be educated and forget the rest. Then they go out into the job market unable to perform the most basic of functions. We have a large number of those in the construction industry for whom school was a non starter. I have been involved in a project to teach two of them to read and write. But you give them a task, and they do a good days graft, from 7 in the morning to 5 at night, and have skills that raise them above being dummies. And if I have to give another induction to a bunch of Graduates who spend the whole session staring at thier bloody i-phones, i'll make sure an industrial accident befalls them. The phones, not the graduates.
