  1. I posted this on another thread Simple fact for me, if we are out of the bottom 3 at the end of the season we have done so by what has been done on the pitch. The relegated teams should have no problem with that. It is not as if we have spent money we did not have this season to buy in talent. We even loaned out our better players. I am comfortable with us not being deducted points from a moral point of view. If we are using a loophole in the rules to avoid the deduction that is life. It is not Saints fault the rules are flawed. However the convincing argument that all of the plc stems directly from the football club leaves me to believe the points deduction will apply. The football league powers seem stronger than just the written down rules.
  2. As Jonah has rightly pointed out, it was not a gift but an interest free loan which was paid back in full. The Corbetts have confirmed the same on more than one occassion. Exit2 is correct, it was for SFC but the whole structure changed when the plc came into play just as the stadium ownership has. Jacksons farm has very little commercial value at present. Surely if it had it would have been sold to provide capital to avoid the Administration we now find ourselves. I have it on good authority the club did explore avenues with Bovis's option expiring this month. I understand there was no interest. Not suprising at this time and without any medium term hope of development permission.
  3. Have to agree with you there Phil.
  4. I answered a question, that is all. Bye
  5. Because I will not answer it.
  6. No. Don't ask the follow up question
  7. No news may be appropriate at this moment in time. Let's see what 1pm press call brings (bet it is the usual press call for Saturdays game)
  8. I think you will find it was not the £110K but the fact there would not be enough income going forward so the loss would increase with no prospect of change.
  9. Only if Administrators were appointed at 10am.
  10. Administration is a bugger as it will rob us of all our strength. However I now share the belief that we will come out the other side frail, dizzy and suffering the pain but with a future. We will not die.
  11. Do you know different? If not why have a go? LM sold most of his shares some time ago. It is common knowlege.
  12. Just to set the record straight and suport Duncan. I had a call last night whilst at a dinner in Sindlesham from a good source to tell me the shares were to be suspended at 7am today but that was not Administration. The board were meeting today. I telephoned Duncan and he confirmed he had heard it from an equally good source with LSE contacts. We were clear that the information did not eminate from the same person. Duncan said he would post and I added to the post when I got back at 11pm last night. With that confirmation Duncan decided to post this thread The board have met, a decision voted on and passed and we will likely know the outcome of that decision tomorrow.
  13. Thought you might be exhausted and asleep now!
  14. Had a call again an hour or so ago. Looks like Administrators will be appointed and the announcement made tomorrow. This is from the same person who telephoned me yesterday evening with the Stock Market news. I know no more than that at present.
  15. Funny because business experts seem to think it is possible.
  16. Let me just clarify and confirm what some have already posted. We are not in Administration. We have been unable to secure additional capital to continue as a going concern. For that reason we have not been able to comply with the AIM's rule that half year accounts are published within 3 month of the period. My understanding is that there is a board meeting today to review our options. It seems if we can sell the football club for a fair price that will be an option. Thereafter SLH may go into Administration. Let's see what develops but from what I was told last night things look very bleak. I know nothing more at this stage other than there have been some interested parties hovering. May be one of them will make a move today but I am not holding my breath!
  17. Posted this on the share movement thread Just got home from a dinner in Sindlesham, Berkshire. Whilst i was there I took a phone call to say that the shares will be suspended at 7am tomorrow. The information was not known until after the market closed tonight. Someone is still working to try to bring in a buyer but if it does not happen by the time of the board meeting tomorrow 11am (I am told) we will be appointing an Administrator. Sad time for SFC. Like FF I have received this from 2 sources. The points deduction is suspended until the end of the season. If we are in the bottom 3 (before deduction) we take the hit next season. If we finish outside the bottom 3 the 10 points are applied. Whatever way you look at it we start next season in Div 1. Lets hope it is without the 10 points deduction by getting out of the bottom 3.

  20. No. Expected tomorrow if they follow last years publicised date. Don't read to much into them though. They will be very out of date as to our present predicament, unless they issue a trading update at the same time.
  21. Also IF this was as M Dennis says, whoever is going to buy the football club will not be buying shares. If the plc then goes into Administration and then Liquidation ALL shareholders will have valuless shares including Lowe, Wilde, Crouch etc. They will have lost everything. Again my view
  22. As has been stated, if the Football Club was sold by SLH for a fair value that money is banked by the plc and if they go into Administration the Administrator has use of the money to run SLH and pay off creditors as they fall due. If he considers SLH is not a going concern (that will include the stadium) he will try to sell off more parts or liquidate the company. That is my unqualified view
