  1. Lowe dropped a very big hint to someone now likely to be involved in one of the consortiums that if we went into Administration he would eventually tell is as it really was. (in his opinion, of course) I suspect it is the media, looking for a juicy story to fill a time slot or column inches, and knowing the massive differences in the board room over an number of seasons leading up to our demise have contacted Lowe and asked him to tell his side now. Why not the others like Crouch or Wilde? Who knows. Maybe the media don't see them as worthy of a big interest. It cannot damage us any more. We are damaged enough. We need a new start void of all that have previously had a directorship in this club.
  2. Give the man a prize
  3. Anyone want to go first?
  4. Next Friday will be Good - FACT!
  5. Fair summary Steve. Just as I saw it.
  6. Can confirm that
  7. If the Football League close the alleged loophole it will not affect us as it is not likely to be retrospective. However like you I expect the points deduction. The failure was not only crowd revenue, it was player sales (not achieved but not for the want of trying) and investment (again from what I know not for the want of trying)
  8. Thanks for posting the link up Baj. Let's hope for further positive developments in the next few weeks.
  9. Jan, I think you have much to offer. I will speak to "Derry" tomorrow.
  10. Let me say that I have contacts with many sources relating to SFC. When "Derry" asked me to assist him I emailed those sources explaining the situation and asking that they not email me with information further as it might be seen as a conflict of interest. From my point of view I want to see SFC continue. I want to see a viable group takeover the running of SFC. I see what we are trying to achieve is a back up if all else fails. "Derry" already knows my diary is pretty full for the next two critical weeks but I will support him and the Save our Saints Group as best I can. Come on you red & whites (why do some say come on you reds? We are Red & White - Lifes blood)
  11. A view from an old friend Saintlee http://plasticsaints.myfreeforum.org/about8549.html
  12. I posted this on another thread Simple fact for me, if we are out of the bottom 3 at the end of the season we have done so by what has been done on the pitch. The relegated teams should have no problem with that. It is not as if we have spent money we did not have this season to buy in talent. We even loaned out our better players. I am comfortable with us not being deducted points from a moral point of view. If we are using a loophole in the rules to avoid the deduction that is life. It is not Saints fault the rules are flawed. However the convincing argument that all of the plc stems directly from the football club leaves me to believe the points deduction will apply. The football league powers seem stronger than just the written down rules.
  13. As Jonah has rightly pointed out, it was not a gift but an interest free loan which was paid back in full. The Corbetts have confirmed the same on more than one occassion. Exit2 is correct, it was for SFC but the whole structure changed when the plc came into play just as the stadium ownership has. Jacksons farm has very little commercial value at present. Surely if it had it would have been sold to provide capital to avoid the Administration we now find ourselves. I have it on good authority the club did explore avenues with Bovis's option expiring this month. I understand there was no interest. Not suprising at this time and without any medium term hope of development permission.
  14. Have to agree with you there Phil.
  15. I answered a question, that is all. Bye
  16. Because I will not answer it.
  17. No. Don't ask the follow up question
  18. No news may be appropriate at this moment in time. Let's see what 1pm press call brings (bet it is the usual press call for Saturdays game)
  19. I think you will find it was not the £110K but the fact there would not be enough income going forward so the loss would increase with no prospect of change.
  20. Only if Administrators were appointed at 10am.
  21. Administration is a bugger as it will rob us of all our strength. However I now share the belief that we will come out the other side frail, dizzy and suffering the pain but with a future. We will not die.
  22. Do you know different? If not why have a go? LM sold most of his shares some time ago. It is common knowlege.
