  1. They probably have plans to extend yes but there's no minimum capacity rule to play in the Prem. It's a fairly modern all seater stadium, the only issue is media facilities but other than that it's perfectly acceptable for next season.
  2. Just a myth, Dean Court is perfectly adequate to hold top tier football.
  3. If they continue to play that style of football, and are shrewd in the transfer market then I reckon they could surprise a few people next year and do alright. They certainly play a better style of football than the likes of Stoke and Sunderland, plus I reckon Dean Court could be a massive advantage to them. Fair play to them, nice to see a new face in the prem, especially after what they went through not long ago.
  4. Everton have looked different class since they were knocked out of the Europa, makes me wonder whether it's worth the hassle next season or not?
  5. First time I've seen the highlights since being at the game. Disappointed with the first goal we conceded, blatant handball and whilst Kelvin perhaps could have done better it was all a bit quick, the real question though is why the hell did Dier have so much time and space to put the cross in. Second goal was shocking, again poor marking put Chadli through, and as much as I admire Davis near post shots have always been his weakness, he should not be getting beat from that angle. Steve Davis' misses look even worse the second time around too, to not even get those shots on target is embarrassing for a so called attacking midfielder. Plenty of positives though, fantastic cross from Long for our second, and what a header from Pelle. Good work from him for the first too, made himself a nuisance and got the reward. Spurs couldn't cope with Mane today, although the bloke needs to stop throwing himself on the floor all the time, getting a bit silly now. Lastly thought the atmosphere was brilliant for the first 70 minutes at least, felt like a derby match at times at least it did in block 41, and the 'pop' when we got our first was the loudest all season. Been a bit flat in recent games, so was nice to hear it rocking again
  6. Just been reading on twitter that Bournemouth players were crying at the final whistle, is that true!!! That late equaliser could be devastating to their mindset ahead of the final two games.
  7. **** off Stoke.
  8. FFS!!!!!! Should have done better!
  9. Go down as a keeper error that one unfortunately, ffs saints what a **** goal to concede.
  10. First time I've seen the highlights of that game since seeing it live, damn that was a painful day. To me personally I knew we were down that day, remember falling back into my seat as the third went in completely blown away by what had just happened. As has been said though I much prefer the way things turned out for us despite the years of pain from 05-09.
  11. Tbf you'd think all the refs in that league lived in sunny Boscombe what with some of the decisions that have gone in their favour this season.
  12. That is the first footage I've ever watched of him as a player and all I can say is wow. Easy to see why he is a Barca legend, some of those goals are pure class and so important especially the Champions League winning free kick. Incredible goal scoring record for a player that was predominantly played at Centre Back.
  13. With clothes and hair like that you'd be forgiven for thinking that photo was taken in the 1990's.
  14. Quite surprised saints haven't just offered free entry to all season ticket holders and £3 to everyone else, I'm sure they'd have made enough from food and drink to cover staff costs. I'll still head down to watch though,be nice to see us lift a trophy regardless of what it is.
  15. That save was incredible, hope we carry on all game this well!!
  16. lol, there's the Pelle we know and love!
  17. Bit cheeky really that despite spending the best part of £700 on a season ticket, they charge as much as £10 to do little more than go on a computer and assign your name to a different seat in the stadium. Poor show IMO.
  18. Club over country all day long for me, so a 3-0 Italy win from a Pelle hattrick please. Fed up of the media love in to a very average England side being managed by yes man Hodgson.
  19. I hope Pelle scores a hattrick against us next week, other than that I couldn't give a rats arse about England. Just hope everyone comes back injury free. Bloody hate international break.
  20. Funny as fook!!!!
  21. All three of his pens have been shocking, regardless of the outcome. I would have thought Steve Davis would be a better choice, or Morgan.
  22. ****ing Man City, could have cashed out my Acca pre game for £424 the useless bunch of bastards.
  23. Stoke and Swansea have also won it previously.
  24. Errrr actually... http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/31702424 not a fan of the idea personally, robs some of the lesser teams in the league pyramid a chance of going to Wembley and lifting a trophy.
  25. Time for Koeman to start earning his crust now, we've looked poor for weeks now, and he persists in playing Pelle up top by himself still. We'll keep coming back to this but the decision not to bring in a striker in January to ease the burden/provide competition is going to cost us the Champions League dream. Not optimistic about our chances on Tuesday whatsoever.
