Even without the pace of J-Rod I still expect us to win this by a clear 3 or 4 goals, Cardiff are dog****. Good opportunity for Gallagher to impress, hoping Boruc is back too.

Same story we've seen so many times this season, dominate the first half but let down by errors and lack of depth in the squad. Gazza is just doing his job, but he simply is not good enough for this level. How anyone on here can say otherwise is beyond me, not brave enough for the third and in no mans land for the fourth. Not that it cost us the game, we simply weren't good enough once we lost J-Rod. Praying for the guy and his World Cup dream, but seen enough football games to know that doesn't look good. Concerned for the striking options now till the end of the season.

****, looks like J-rod has done his cruiciate. Poor bastard, World Cup dream over.

Fairly decent goals are quite often hyped up too much, there was nothing Maradona-esque about tht at all. The only goal I've seen come close to Maradona was by Leo Messi against Getafe, in fact I even prefer it to the one scored by the fat Argie ******. Look how crazy the media went for Rooneys volley at the weekend, which we've seen Beattie do against Sunderland and Chelsea, even skate Matt Taylor done the same once, yet people think it's better than Beckham's legendary goal against Wimbledon. Not even close IMO.

Typing ' Richie Barker ' in the search bar on twitter is good for a laugh.

Courtesy of our local paper. Some pretty controversial choices it has to be said. Im particularly shocked to see the 85 centenary kit and the Denmark style Hummel one in there.... http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/11095184.10_worst_Saints_kits/?ref=var_0

Teams getting relegated from the PL and potential signings

Cardiff keeper David Marshall looks a class act on MOTD once again, would be a good replacement for Boruc. -
Still annoyed yes. To the point i'm seriously thinking about not renewing my ST next year. Might sound a little OTT, but if the aim of our manager is to disregard all the cup competitions, and aim for a 7th -10th place finish each year then really can't be arsed. We'll never finish top 6 without serious investment, so the cups are the only thing a club of our size can realistically aim for.

Mauricio Pochettino staying as Southampton manager - Official

is is it bad news though? Seems a like for like change to be honest. -
Up there with Killer as the best CB I saw play for Saints. Still disappointed the way the club failed to recognise his passing the way his other clubs did, espically being the first captain to lead out the Saints at St Mary's.

Quite tempted to go down there tomorrow and lend my support to Beattie and his boys, they've been alright on the road lately so Pompey could be in for a tough match.

Love the '50 most perfectly timed photos' link at the bottom of that web page.

Indeed. How many times in the lower leagues did we have 3 games a week, always putting out a full strength team too.
-
To repeat what I said in the build up thread, today is an absolute insult to all our fans who made the trip up north, especially those doing it for the 3rd time this year.
-
They're professional sportsmen FFS, we're not the only team to have played Tuesday, plus they've a whole week to recover. I'd be livid if I travelled all that way to find out we'd made that many changes.
-
Disappointing starting line-up. Bit of an insult to all the fans who bothered to make that journey today, especially those doing it for a 3rd time this season.
-
for St Mary's to have been more than a 1/5 empty the attendance would need to have been less than 26'071, which it wasn't. Therefore he has written a blatant lie. might email the press complaints commission for a laugh.

Just tweeted him regarding the aforementioned portsmyths he has written. Strangely though he appears to be a Norwich City fan, and not one of the phew.

The Uncharted trilogy is a must. Number 2 in particular. infamous 1 & 2 are good fun. You've mentioned GTA V, definitely give Red Dead Redemption a go too. Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are top drawer. Fallout 3 is good too, I still go back to it now after these few years.

Twitter really does make me laugh/vomit over those poor deluded few. exhibit A: https://twitter.com/jamesobeirne/status/429697724225957888 in the bottom picture you have a billionairess owner of a premier league football club, whilst in the top picture we have a bunch of mugs that paid £1000 to become "shareholders" when all they've really done is wasted their cash to pay towards all those creditors waiting for what they're owed!
