1 March 2012 at 02:58 PM Appy pompeii This will work 100% We need to work out how the league table will look if we drop out of it as all results-points will be void for teams we have played thus changing the positions of the league. Once we have worked out the clubs that could do with us staying in existence (like west ham as they would lose 6 points if we go) we then go to them and ask for some cash ! Yep that's right, they actually think that blackmail is a viable way to survive. Someone please just pull the plug on them.

What sort of saving are we talking here? I'm off to the States in June so may take advantage of this.

Another thumbs up for giffgaff here, signed up after someone on here mentioned it on a similar thread some months ago. Will never go back to a contract as long as they're around.

New era, same ****.

Cracking first half this.
-
BANG! What a penalty, pick that out!
-
As the match tickets are so ****ing expensive and it's live on sky would have been nice if the club laid on free travel for fans to get more people up there.

Hoping the demon of the 5-2 loss gets exorcised today! Christ I've seen some bad away performances but that one is righ up there with the worst.

Always felt the same way myself. I believed that the crossing abilities of Fernandes combined with the aerial ability of Crouch had goals written all over it. Was a fan of Fabrice when he was here, never seemed to score a **** goal. My favourite was a freekick in a match against West Ham which we won 2-0 which he absolutley smashed in the top corner so hard that a reporter the next day wrote "if the net hadn't been there to stop the ball it would still be flying above the Solent somewhere".

Some of the celebrations on that video are mental! You'd probably get booked for time-wasting over here. Hoping Lee turns out to be the next Pahars for us, not scoring the goals to keep us up instead scoring the goals to send us up.

We are yet to play at Leeds, Boro and Blackpool, a home match with Reading that will be very hard, as well as a visit from Ipswich who are more than capable of producing an upset. I'd be delighted to stay unbeaten till the end, but let's take it one game at a time eh.

But for the last 10 of the first half and first 10 of the second half that's probably the most dominant a display I've seen from us at St Mary's this season. Lallana was different class today, KD made a quality save to keep it at 1-0, and Lee's goal lifted the roof off the ground, stunning strike! Feeling much more optimistic about our promotion chances with our team back to strength now.

Shame this didn't happen a month ago so the administrators could have sold off their players and left them a bunch of kids and lower league players to choose from.
-
Met and had a photo taken with Ray Winstone leaving Wembley after the first England game against Brazil. Was a nice guy but I couldn't muster up the courage to ask him "where's your tool?".
-
27228 of us turned up at St Mary's when our admin was announced back in 09. Only 14330 at Fratton tonight. Joke club, best fans my ass.
-
Would have taken that before the game so can't complain too much. We have no one to fear from now till the end of season.
-
Should have asked him why he didn't rate Lallana before, hence him considering his future at the club.

Good to see an ex-saint score the equaliser for 'Pool, makes up a bit for ****y Nugent the other week.

Class performances all round today, well chuffed with the result! Good to have the Hoover back again, Sharp and Lambert partnership looks promising, can't wait to see the 2nd goal again, couldn't work out what happened from the Northam. Result was all down to the strength of our team, not the fact it was a 3pm kick off as 7 of our league wins haven't been.

No sub keeper, wow. Has Nige been reading the forum!? Strongest team for weeks, no excuses now, we should beat most teams with that line-up.

League position matters not, we weren't in the Prem when any of the last 3 gigs went ahead anyhoo, and besides the Ricoh Arena in Coventry regulary have bands playing there. I think the reason we don't have many is we're geographically very close to London and its not a particularly big catchment area for a concert. I went to both Bon Jovi gigs at SMS, both very well organised and it was nice to be able to walk home from a big show as opposed to a 2 hour train/car journey.

Thanks for the advice, shall certainly give that book a try. Thought there was no hope for me, even a proper pair of running shoes never solved the problem, didn't give much though to my technique.

Whilst I've been growing frustrated with his cliché filled post match reactions of late, the thought of changing manager is just pure moronic. We're 2nd in the bloody league and have had some really **** luck recently. What if Davis hadn't been injured against Blackpool, what if our goal that crossed the line at Brighton but didn't get given had been, what if Lambert didn't react to El-Abd's tackle and get a 3 match ban, what if the ref against Cardiff didn't bottle it and instead gave us the 2 penalties that he should have. We're just not getting the luck lately but need to stick together through adversity and remember where we've come from in such a short space of time.
