  1. Send us an email at northernsaintstickets@gmail.com and we will sort it out or send me a PM with your details John (on behalf of Northern Saints)
  2. Cheers - corrected
  3. Details now on official site - Tickets over £40 again and on sale Mon 23rd September http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/tickets-man-utd-vs-saints-1059248.aspx A quick google check suggests blocks 230, 231 and 233 hold just over 700 each and 232 holds just under 500 so about 2600 odd seats available Presume Man U would have had to offer more if we wanted it
  4. Hi I have sent you a PM about the Northern Saints - may be possible to get tickets through us for some games John
  5. I'm in the same position as the OP. although if at 1pm it looks like a washout I will jump on a train down to St Mary's instead
  6. Most other clubs manage it - shows how inept we are at this. Just look at the so called points system for another example.
  7. Plenty of street parking around ground or pay a fiver to park on an industrial site. We gave up on Vine last season as it was 30minto get served so ended up drinking in ground.
  8. Thanks, you have a PM. You should probably claim some commission on the £5 I have just spent too. Been meaning to re-subscribe for months but never got round to it
  9. Hi Can you add in the Northern Saints: http://www.northernsaints.co.uk Twitter: @northernsaints1 Facebook "Northern Saints" Cheers John
  10. Thanks for all the feedback. Re Amazon - thanks for the heads up I will try that as it will probably take into account more recent CDs but not the ones I bought from Our Price back in the early 90s. Quality / format: Clearly I am showing my lack of knowledge on the subject. Basically I will be looking to play the CDs on the existing Iphone I have and also through a multi room system - probably Sonos. If there is a better quality than Mp3 then I would look to rip to that. Am also now looking at the Sonos playbar for the lounge Re Price/time: It has taken me about 3 years to do about 150 CDs - I don't have much spare time with a busy job plus kids so I was thinking if I could pay around 50p a CD then I would just get in finished in one go. Thanks again for the feedback
  11. Hi Has anyone used or could recommend any of the online companies that rip music CDs into MP3 format. I've got about 300 CDs to convert and don't have the time to do it myself. Interested in price, quality and service. The above is step 1 in getting a full multi room set up in the house. I am aware of Sonos but what are the alternatives? Any comments appreciated. Cheers John
  12. But all the Chelsea fans are convinced they are away to us first game!
  13. Try northernsaints.co.uk for the northern saints supporters club There is usually a few of us going to games etc including a couple from Harrogate John
  14. It matters because the PST bid is subject to getting the ground too. So if PST don't get ground there will be no 0.02p or whatever it was payment to unsecured creditors. Hence the trust or bust argument given that Chanrai won't pass FL rules on ownership.
  15. I like the way the comic book (sorry prospectus) has no detailed financials in it. The link sends you to a website which has a link back to the same document! Genius but still no details on how the numbers stack up...
  16. May not be stupid - again cannot conclude without knowing numbers but it will be cheaper to finance with a security than without. Most businesses don't always have the luxury of guaranteed income streams. By taking a security on future income the finance company reduces its risk so lending costs will be less
  17. Bit of a leap there to be fair. You may well be right but as an alternative we could have borrowed £10m to fund the Ramirez deal up front. Given we now have guaranteed income over the next 4 years from Sky of circa £100m (again don't quote me if this in only £80m) but either way it would not be a big deal if this was the case If it was £100m I may be worried but I'll let the experts and nutjobs find the facts out before deciding if we are toast or not
  18. Some new info?
  19. I have spoken to a friend who is a football agent. Don't think he has any players at Pompey. But he has stated that the PFA do not have any obligation to pay the players wages in the event of liquidation. The parachute payment situation is unique so no one knows what will happen to them. The view seems to be they will go to football creditors though but there is an argument that legally even a liquidated club could claim them as an asset.
  20. Neither - it means the players registration reverts back to the League i.e. the liquidated club cannot claim it as an asset. The players can therefore sign for any other club without any fee due to the liquidated club as part of the asset sell off as they are no longer assets of the club. In a liquidation scenario, the outstanding payments to players are treated as any other debt as our any remaining contractual payments they are due. The PFA or football league or FA are under no obligation to make a payment to any payments However they may chose to withhold the golden share to any shell of the club that remains as a punishment
  21. Of course we are a big club. Just look at how many letters there are in our name. Far bigger than Chelsea or Arsenal and dont even mention Ajax to me. Hull is positively tiny compared to us!
  22. Have they announced individual match ticket prices yet? This may impact if I renew or not as cannot make every game
  23. T Have I missed something, under 11 tickets are available in most areas of the ground so why pay fullwhack?
  24. And cleaning windows
