Arizona Posted 13 August, 2009 Share Posted 13 August, 2009 If you looked up 'pointless signings' in the dictionary, it would probably refer to Anthony Pulis. Forecast does appear in the goalkeeper's special edition however.
Bailey Posted 13 August, 2009 Share Posted 13 August, 2009 Makes sense. There's no point in having Davis, Bialkowski, Poke and Forecast, so one of them was always going to leave on loan. Still don't understand why we signed TF in the first place though!

Still don't understand why we signed TF in the first place though! It was all part of the previous regime's evil plan to truely fook us over.....long term! Fortunately for us ML, NC and AP are way too canny!
Saint_Mabes Posted 13 August, 2009 Share Posted 13 August, 2009 That must be ******. I fauil to see how anyone can be 6' 6" and 11st 10!!! Even 6'4" which they mentioned in the article is pretty extreme! I wonder what crouchie weighs??? I can't be bothered to find out, but if someonefancies it... St.Patrik Posted 14 August, 2009 Share Posted 14 August, 2009 and Forecast signed a four year deal! Nope - a 5 year deal according this their OS "Saints boss Jan Poortvliet swooped to bring in the 21-year old from Tottenham Hotspur, with the six foot four shot-stopper penning a five-year deal at St Marys"
Dicko Posted 14 August, 2009 Share Posted 14 August, 2009 6ft 6" and 11st 10? He'd probably snap like twig in a decent breeze! He lives in Ocean Village, I've met a few times in Tesco Express He is indeed very tall, and extremely skinny He reminds of Reina, only 21, but already really bald
SaintRobbie Posted 14 August, 2009 Share Posted 14 August, 2009 Oh no - surely we're not selling a quality Lowe youth signing?! Keep selling them I say. Pulis next.
The Saturday Boy Posted 14 August, 2009 Share Posted 14 August, 2009 If you looked up 'pointless signings' in the dictionary, it would probably refer to Anthony Pulis. Forecast does appear in the goalkeeper's special edition however. Forecast was an even more pointless signing than Pulis. We already had 3 goalkeepers and then we go out and pay 300k for a goalkeeper when we barely had two pennies to rub together. At least Pulis was just an add on! Ashby Saint Posted 14 August, 2009 Share Posted 14 August, 2009 "Forecast is tipped as a potential future England keeper " One of the worst forecasts i've seen in a while..... If you've got your crystal ball handy good you also tell me the lottery numbers for tomorrow. Lots of players are tipped to have bright futures - especially those that have come through the academies of Premiership teams. He could be a very good keeper (and again he may not) but it is probably too early to tell as keepers reach their prime in their 30s. It seems to me typical of some on this forum to constantly knock our own players - many of whom from the reserves have yet to have their chance. S-Clarke Posted 16 August, 2009 Share Posted 16 August, 2009 Well he did well, only let in 4 goals Grimsby fans don't rate him.... He is seriously one of the worst goalkeepers I have EVER seen.Send him back now. Awful. He can take Boshell with him. http://www.thefishy.co.uk/cgi-bin/forum/Blah.pl?m-1250354173/ To think we took him as part of the early settlement to Bale's transfer. Makes me shudder how we were run before.
REDARMY79 Posted 17 August, 2009 Share Posted 17 August, 2009 He is dreadful, watched him alot last year in reserves and is his hesitant, slow and cannot kick. A bit of an arse aswell in my opinion.
