I reckon it's on......JPT and the playoffs

IMO, we are the best team in this league.

we have the best players, the best facilites, the best manager and the most money...

so much for "just surviving" and anyone who wanted more being "unrealistic"..

What are the dates please and I will be there

No chance of a FA CUP Final?

You KNOW we're on the up when TDD starts posting really positive posts like this.

Let the good times roll.......

In fairness he's been saying all season that this is where we should be aiming.

Not sure if I agree that we're the best in the League; Leeds and Norwich seem pretty tasty.

I will be very disappointed if we make the play offs. I have backed us to be Champions, the Chief Exec has targeted winning the league and I expect the team to win every game between now and the end of the season.

I assume that winning every game between now and the end of the season would see us Champions? Can anyone clarify this for me?

If my maths is correct, we'd have 107 points?

Absolutely - wonder what happened to all those pompous arses at the start of the season patronisingly wagging their finger and starting threads called "Reality Check" about what a fantastic achievement finishing just above the relegation places would be and how dare anyone even think we could possibly do better etc etc blah blah etc

Play offs were a realistic aim at the start of the season and they still are now. The arse aching bores suggesting Pardew would need an entire season of absolute dross to "bed in" like Ted Bates did and did you know Lawrie got relegated in his first season and Alex Ferguson took four years and blah blah blah etc blah blah.

Horseshi t. Instant results, delivered instantly. Just like people like me and TDD said would happen all along.

So much for "reality", eh, reality checkers?

Two trips to Wembley, a Paint Trophy, promotion and the Skates relegation - that's the dream.

All very achievable, we have some serious momentum at the moment, the one good thing about the -10 is that there is no weight of expectation, anything they achieve is a bonus. At the moment they look bulletproof.

This sort of OTT optimism worries me.

I had to log off the site for 5 minutes to check my airmiles.

Answer is One Wembley and One Forum rematch....

Unless........

Now THERE's an idea Granty/Baj.....

But only if they let us have a Jaigerbomb in the Dressing Room afterwards

Gaffer, you do realise don't you, that the Forum Match was where this rebirth of our club all started? That's what my Grandkids get told anyway.

PaddyPower currently have us at:

FA Cup - 300/1

JPT - 15/2

L1 Champs - 50/1

£10 treble = £3,605

Mate, you are no odds compiler...

300 x 10 = 3000

Plus your tenner on at 15/2 - that's seven a half times your £3010

x 50....

Or is that one of those crap deals where the bookie says you can't have a proper treble because the three odds are interlinked??

I hate it when they do that, because the real odds there should earn you about £1.5m for your Ayrton!!

Okay, i was a wee bit out. Is it £1,304,835? If so I am gonna chuck a quid on it and settle for just paying off the mortgage, buying a Honda 400FOUR buying a narrowboat and banking the change for a rainy day

"Ayrton" Senna = Tenner? I like that.

Be careful if you do. Bookies will not always lay football trebles based around the same team. For example, Chelsea's odds to win the league, cup and Champs League are not the same as if you wanted to back them for the treble.

Personally, I thnk it's a disgrace. They are three separate events and should be considered as such, but you'll probbaly find they are something like 20/1 for a bet that should be 150/1 or more!

Personally, I think the Champions title is at the achievable but fecking hard end of the scale. The JPT we could win. The FA Cup we need the gods to be very kind to us with the draw.... ;)

(My own money is down at 18/1 promotion and 150/1 Champions - these bets went on after the Charlton game when I could see the writing on the wall).

And I make it:

300 x 10 = 3000

3010 x 7.5 = 22,575

22,575 +10 x 50 = 1,129,250 so you might have to forego the Honda... ;)

lol but in a way you're right and that's scary

When did the planning start? April. When did NC look into us - April. Must have read this place and seen we could talk cr*p about things over than politics

It's great to know that less than a month after the "pardew out - but when?" thread, we're talking about 3 trips to Wembley. Can't you all just find one set of medication and stick with it? :)

The Charlton game will tell us a lot about how we measure up against those currently chasing automatic promotion. They seem to be dropping points which would suggest a rough patch which they will hopefully still be going through when they play us. What a great psychological boost it would be to give them an absolute tonking!

One good side of the 10 point penalty (if there is one) is that a side winning games like we are will be reeling in the teams above us. Sometimes it's not that comfortable to be up front needing to keep ahead when you know you are being chased down.

Joking aside Gaffer, I am sure i read somewhere that he was there, Nicola that is. I know that certain 'others' were talent spotting, but there were other people there who were suited and booted, check the video out.

Anything is possible in this game LTC, I always believe that we can and will win every game 4-1. Re the FA Cup, the gods have looked quite favourably on the smaller clubs in recent yeras too. Pompey, Millwall, Cardiff, and others have gone really close too.

By the way, my maths ain't brilliant, but i'm pleased to say that it is not as bad as yours:
