Did anyone see the bloke afterwards with the huge gold chain complaining about the lack of an SFC Season Ticket payment plan.....sell the chain mate gold prices are really high LMAO - he didn't see the irony.

Have my doubts over its actual gold content. Probably more like green.

Met Oxlade-Chamberlain last season, was a nice guy, seemed very professional for a youngster, i remember meeting Matt Paterson and he was up himself a lot (and he's not even that good).

I also met the lad and he really is a lovely young man and appears very dedicated - given the track record of SFC academy thus far I am sure that he has every chance of doing extremely well (and hopefully for us!)

His dad implied he was better

If that's true, can we NOT let the lad leave before he gets sufficient development from us, playing regular football. Both Walcott and Bale's progress was held up due to them leaving a bit too early, IMO. Bale is at last starting to show his real potential again, whereas Walcott is still not where he should be by now.

yes. i can see from this that you are looking at his development as a professional totally from his persepective, and not from your own perspective as a southampton supporter

Of course. You're more perceptive than I thought, Wiltshiire. ;)

Looks like a good opportunity for a wind up for TT. Amused by the "he's not good enough for us" and "we had him and let him go" lies from teh Skates.

It is a load of BS - Alex O-C has been with Academy set up for years and never near the Skates. His dad obviously knows that SFC offer hugely superior prospects.

Maybe that should be 'used to' ;)
Lol.

Im certain he'll still get a ticket, he has been going for years. his friend he stands wiith really hates Lambert and calls him 'a f'in lazy ....' It is amusing as that is player who has scored and set uop more goals than anybody. Most fans around shake their heads at the stupidity.

I recall him doing so and within a minute Lambert scored and to be fair he accepted he had been shown up and took the pi##take well.

Worryingly, Football Manager says he is a "Similar type of player to Paul Wotton". Get rid now! ;)

FFS MLG sort it out!

I don't know why that is. Likely to be more down to the game not interrupting the database correctly than the database itself.

In any case for FM10 I had hardly seen him play. For FM11 he will be very different.
