benjii Posted 9 November, 2010 Share Posted 9 November, 2010 I was waiting for the first "Nandos FFS" post! I agree though, it can't be premium nosh for athletes. Or can it? Chicken and carbs. Probably alright actually?

scott_saints Posted 9 November, 2010 Share Posted 9 November, 2010 Proffesional footballers shouldn't be out socialising in the build up to a game, or eating. FFS.

Sam Posted 9 November, 2010 Share Posted 9 November, 2010 According to the BBC live text, Dawson and Defoe are in a private box at the Lane "smashing" down chicken, burger and chips. If it's good enough for Premier League players.....
Saint Posted 9 November, 2010 Share Posted 9 November, 2010 Saw Barnard in West Quay a few weeks ago and he wasn't wearing the cast. Then he was wearing it against Dagenham the Tuesday after. It must just be when he's playing.
SuperMikey Posted 9 November, 2010 Share Posted 9 November, 2010 Probably best if they just have plain rice. You have to be mental to go to Nandos and not have spicy rice.
Guan 2.0 Posted 9 November, 2010 Share Posted 9 November, 2010 Why are any of you in Nando's? ****ty chain food at it's worst. You might as well go somewhere decent to eat, or drop the pretence and head to KFC. FFS.
Saint Samuel Posted 9 November, 2010 Share Posted 9 November, 2010 Why are they eating Nandos? We have a game on Saturday. Shocking diet for footballers. georgeweahscousin Posted 9 November, 2010 Share Posted 9 November, 2010 This thread has made me feel sad. I don't earn anywhere close to the wage of a pro footballer, but even I feel above Nandos. Come on lads, don't waste your footballers wealth doing what any pikey can do. Eat in classier establishments.

supersonic Posted 10 November, 2010 Author Share Posted 10 November, 2010 I walked past Guly in West Quay earlier' date=' he was on his own and looked lonely. They should have invited him to nandos.[/quote'] As did I. Infact I tried to chat with him in Burton but when I asked him how he was settling in at Saints, his response was "yes please" wasn't too keen on his bright blue trainers! I was however, Impressed by Andy Robinson and James Ward-Prowse (both CMs) in tonights youth cup tie. Both very comfortable on the ball, and JW-P (for someone only 15years old) will go a very long way in the game
