Rut Posted 29 January, 2011 Share Posted 29 January, 2011 http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=206024&start=130 Then afterwards I totally agree about the ref being got at. The free kick on the Kingsland (Chapel end) touchline that led to their 1st goal was never. Saints couldn't breath near one of them without the t##t blowing his whistle. thesaint sfc Posted 29 January, 2011 Share Posted 29 January, 2011 I remember when this forum used to be like that so much banter -no one jumping on each others backs - all about football and not the running of the club.
John Boy Saint Posted 29 January, 2011 Share Posted 29 January, 2011 I had a good read through there to the end, wow they hate Manure and their extra player Atkinson.

SuperMikey Posted 29 January, 2011 Share Posted 29 January, 2011 Refs were told to protect flair players in the World Cup - would not be surprised at all if English league and cup refs were told to protect players at bigger clubs. As soon as Nani came on their free kick count went through the roof. There were some really clear decisions that didn't go our way as well - Guly losing his marker and getting his ankles bitten off for one. Will have to watch the game back on TV but I have to say that Atkinson had his lucky Man Utd pants on today underneath his shorts. Maybe Fergie had a bit of a word at half time... Pugwash Posted 29 January, 2011 Share Posted 29 January, 2011 Clearly Atkinson was satisfied with the contents of the half-time brown envelope. Exactly how much are the reputations of an ex-england gambler, bacon-faced jock and bunch of wannabe Ronaldos worth?

Referee terrible and is obviously a Muauer fan. The 'fouls' he gave them in the second half were so far off the rules and Guly being completely bundled off the ball without getting a thing - What the hell was that about?????? According to the City fans he does this all time, favouring Man u. He gave them 'fouls' continually in the second half. Something was definately very strange about his performance.......... John Boy Saint Posted 30 January, 2011 Share Posted 30 January, 2011 Anyone spot Fergie telling the 4th official how many minutes to put on the board at 90minutes for Alex Ferguson overtime??

Channon's Sideburns Posted 30 January, 2011 Share Posted 30 January, 2011 Not to mention Phelan's double role as the third linesman, directing his arms to influence the ref. It ffoking stinks.

beatlesaint Posted 30 January, 2011 Share Posted 30 January, 2011 They're pretty scathing to Do Prado. I actually thought he played OK last night. yeah but just remember the quality of player they are watching week in week out these days. FWIW I thought he was inconsistant last night, looked good at times but some of his passing ??
Wildgoose Posted 30 January, 2011 Share Posted 30 January, 2011 On the ref: I said "Oh no!" out loud as soon as I saw it was Atkinson. Agree that some of the decisions were so biased and to be honest I was expecting far worse like a major controversial decision to go against us! No major decision went against us only because there were no major incidents. I had the same feeling of foreboding last night at half time that I had in Euro 2000 when I just knew the ref was going to give Romania a penalty to kick us out. S-Clarke Posted 30 January, 2011 Share Posted 30 January, 2011 They're pretty scathing to Do Prado. I actually thought he played OK last night. He follows a great touch, with a clumsy touch though which kind of makes him look poor and inconsistent to neutrals. He's a very handy player for us at this level though.
