It is amazing that the football club chairman iis not even going to attend the AGM. The largest shareholder cannot een be bothered to attend !!

says it all doesn't it???

He's busy launching a new Saints marketing campaign. 'Spot Michael Wildes Balls'. Only a pound to enter. Latest odds; Rupert is the odds on favourite to win as he's got one in each trouser pocket. Lloyd James is the rank outsider as when asked to put a cross he didn't have a clue where to put it

Will the club go for a rights issue of 50p a share to increase the capital base to a reasonable level.

My £250 cheque is ready , what about yours Mr Lowe and Mr Wilde , time to support your business finanacially like lots of small business men are doing to their businesses at this time

Can you ask why we have been paying the wages of several loan players judged by the manager[/rupert ;)] not good enough to play, while having to loan out 2 proven goalscorers?

Who do we have to "thank" for the loan signings of Pulis, Gasmi, Pekhart and Robertson?

Not sure how to break this to you, but Pulis is not a loan, he's ours for keeps :(

Bloody good question. I'm with you.

think i read a post by you the other day along those lines.

it just seems to me that some of our major shareholders want to be owners of a private company when it suits but as soon as money is mentioned they big up the plc.

i was a financial director of a company many years ago when the economy hit a bit of a down turn, all 4 directors/shareholders raised money by taking out a second mortgage because we believed in the business

If Lowe and Wilde were in charge of my investment I don't think I would even give them the steam off my p*ss.

Done exactly the same myself for our firm because times dictate it!!!

Yet they seem to want to keep getting paid regardless. Well, you can't have your cake and eat it!

Can't make it but wish i could

Would be great if someone can ask

"Is employing Jan and his 5/6/7 dutch coaches, plus having Gasmi,Robertson,Peckhart,Smith,Forecast,Wotten,Pullis,Svensson etc.. and Lowes wages more cheaper then having Crouch/Pearson and keeping one of the strikers we sent out?"

Thing is mike although nice that will never never happen.

That would raise approx £14m on a company that is worth £6m

At tops you would get an extra 10% through a rights issue so about £600k which to be honest wouldnt be worth it

i for one would support a rights issue that excluded any current member of the board, if it was open to them it would only further strengthen there toxic stranglehold on the club.

exclude them and allow real fans to buy into the club and have a say that isnt based around protecting there own assets!

but would it?

they have never showed any indication for 11 years that they would put their hands in their pockets to pull money out only put it in

Please can I request that someone who attends tomorrow post a summary of the following:

1. Lowe's body language

2. The general atmosphere on the floor

3. Whether there was any anti-Lowe barracking

4. Whether any special motions raised and passed

5. Any non-shareholders turn up outside SMS

6. Whether there were any Lowe Brown shirts in attendance to quell discontent.

As a shareholder I could have attended but business commitments at the last minute means I have to be elsewhere.

Jan - you seem a fairly level headed when it comes to matters involving our club - is this something you would be prepared to do?

i think i get what you are saying(not very clear)

if you take that lowes shareholding is relatively small, nowhere near enough to control the club on his own, and that despite the way he has managed this club, he is not stupid, any further shares issued if not taken up by his cronies dilutes his position, something he will not allow to happen. so if shares we issued without restrictions im pretty sure he and his lackeys will buy a large proportion of them, they are control freaks!

Not sure what to expect tomorrow, all depends if many turn up, its an odd date to hold the agm and with no Wilde being present doubt if much can be achieved. I really thought the AGM would be early in the New Year, and Ithought that shareholders had to be given 28 days notice which I am sure we werent.

If Ted Sainty is present I expect he will pose Lowe some real difficult questions.

I'll be happy to post back here the answers to those questions with Jan

Questions to Lowe

"Are you pleased with the progress the club has made

- on the pitch this season

- regarding its financial position"

"what does the attendance need to be to breakeven"

"after Saturday's shocking performance will we see 20k+ attendances at league matches this season"

"when are we next going to win at home"

1 Given that the club is teetering on the brink of existence and in dire need of some experienced players up front, would you and Mr Cowen consider making an interest free loan of £563,000, the amount you received when you so graciously stepped down for the common good last time, to the business in exchange for preference shares or some other profits based repayment mechanism, or heavens to Bettsy, with no strings attached.

After all, it is the least you can do.

2. Is it sensible business practice to seek to prop up a failing company by reducing the quality of its output and freezing its product prices whilst relying on customer footfall and expenditure remaining constant?

3. Do you have any ideas, even a half-baked ill-thought out one as to how to increase revenue? Anything? Just something to put out there.

4. What does Chris Iwelumo think of your chairmanship?

5. Do you think the club would be better with a full time board?

6. Given that the football manager is arguably the most important person at any football club, is it a false economy to sack a popular and progressive manager in order to appoint a cheap replacement?

7. What do you think Michael Wilde offers to the board by way of expertise?

8. Is it ever acceptable to wear a paisley tie with a striped shirt?
