...has been making his excuses again. I would love to see him take Spurs down and be shown up for the blagging chancer that he is. He is without doubt a major reason why we are in the championship. On the bright side, this made me laugh! http://www.football365.com/story/0,17033,8751_4832802,00.html

Yes they seem to be conceding goals in the last minute like we did

Its nice to see some media, mainly football365 are realising old 'Arry for what he is. If only BBC, Sky or Setanta pundits could think of an opinion by themselves rather than listening to what ever rubbish he comes out with.

Ha I saw similar article in the Telegraph but thought nah not Saints related enough.

Think he's past his sell by date and has lost what little plot he ever had, he has a nice retirement home in Sandbanks, time for him to see more of it..

But not until he's wasted a few more millions on rubbish

Redkarp & Garry Moore at City both prime candidates to remove Lowe & Total Football from this year's Foot in Mouth football awards

Did he say that? What a twonk.

Yes I thought the same he was on Radio 5 Live

It really was bad the weakest team possible I dont know if he is playing himself

I quite like Spurs as I used to watch them on the TV in the 60s when they were in Europe but I really want them to be relegated because of Harry.

However if we are still in CC next season they will be a hard team to beat

redknapp - i will put out the weakest possible team at old trafford

yes arry, that will do wonders for the players that will be playing..knowing you think they are ****

Almost like 'Arry's getting his excuses in early, before the game has even kicked off. Doesn't sound like him, something must be wrong. :-k

You know why 'Arry is so good..? Cause none of the pundits will step out of line and say he isn't.

The press love him as well as he's always good for a few quotes.....albeit the same rubbish.......Plus his limited vocabulary of famous sayings:

-the squad is weak, I'm doing the best I can with what I've got

-he's triffic, gives a million percent

- blah blah blah ZZZZZZZZZ

still if he rapes pompey of a few players and unsettles them enough to send em down, then fair play and saggy chops will be sort of forgiven (imo)

What like when he raped you and took you down via the 4-1 at Fratton:D

4-1 at Fratton demoralised and sent DOWN JOB DONE.:D

Hello... who woke the Blue Few? Go away and concentrate on how to fill a 20,000 capacity toilet, something you don't seem able to do.

Did anyone see the rows of empty seats at their game v newcastle??

We beat you twice that season, stood 10 yards from your fans both times. Firstly enjoyed the jealous stadium looks on your faces and then the pain in losing.

Son of a gunrunner will be gone soon, you know whats coming next!

Personally I would like to see Spurs relegated more than Pompey - think Pompey will go down next season if they don't go this season - I believe I heard they have 16 players out of contract at the end of the season, and they are in nearly as big financial doo-doo as we are, but with a far bigger wages bill. So if they do stay up, they'll be shafted next season.

My 3 favourite candidates for relegation this season would be, in ascending order of priority:

Newcastle - see how many "die hards" they get in Div2 - would finally nail the media myth that they're a "massive club".

Pompey - obviously

Spurs - to nail the Redknapp lie - don't think he could airbrush that one out like he has taking us down.

Lowe did that.

Redknapp inheritted a squad of players that were crap. I didn't think he'd save us, but i did think we had a manager who could bounce us back up within the 2 year parachute window.

Lowe is the reason that never happened. He made it abundantly clear to HR that he wasn't wanted by underming him with the SCW fiasco and the sacking of Jim Smith (JS being replaced by a DOF was the reason HR left Pompey) and the pawltry £90K he let him spend. The fans slagged off Fuller but he's playing in the Premiership now so that says it all.

If HR had been treated with respect by Lowe i think he'd have stayed at Saints and i think we'd be in the top flight now.

Most will disagree with me, i can live with that.

The squad of players Redknapp inherited would have been good enough to survive, under the leadership of any half decent manager.... Same as at Spurs right now !

We all know the history as to why we ended up with Redknapp, and that he was not Lowe's

ideal choice, and lets be honest Redknapp can only opperate with massive funds at his disposal for lots of whealing and dealing.

You only need to take a look at the turnover of players at the skates whilst he was there to see this.

So was Redknapp and Saints a recipe for sucess or disaster.... Disaster waiting to happen I think.

What on earth made Redknapp come to us and think he would get the funds made available, yet WGS was supposedly denied from having just a short time earlier ?

I cant honestly believe that Lowe ever promised Redknapp money to spend .

Do you ?

I see Redkrapp is to select the weakest Spurs side available against Man Utd in the cup saying avoiding relegation is priority. This didn't help Saints when he selcted a weakened Saints side in quarter final at home to Manure only to lose 4-0 on national tv.

Not that i care much for Spurs fans but i would be well ****ed off travelling and paying for high cost of ticket etc only to see a reserve side. A bit like watching Saints this season :-(
