Everyone off to Saudi Arabia. How long before their league surpasses the Premier League as the "best league in the world". The way it's going it will be awash with money against which Sky might find it impossible to compete.

At the moment only second rate players are going their often at the end of their careers but momentum is building and once a few world class stars go there it may be game over for the European leagues.

Personally I'm happy for the Premier League and other major European leagues to be diluted by letting the greedy ones transfer to what will inevitably be dull, atmosphereless leagues in Arab countries. It will give younger, hungrier players more of a chance to come through.

Agree with this, it’s a little bit like having that super league that most of us wanted. Fuck the mercenaries off

The only thing to worry about with Saudi Arabia is whether UEFA start sniffing the cash and try to shoehorn them into the Champions League.

I did see a kid in the park wearing Ronaldo's team shirt, FFS.

Ben Shiva, Tel Aviv and the home country of Eyal Berkowitz might take exception to that !

This is from their website. You have to love the 2nd paragraph!!

Al Duhail Sports Club Management concluded their contract with the French midfielder Ibrahima Diallo coming from the Premier League side Southampton after the player passed the medical examination.

Diallo, who was born in France in 1999, succeeded in shining with his team in the English Premier League for three seasons.

The player began his professional career with the French side Monaco and joined Brest on loan before moving to the Premier League. He represented French National Team U18 and U21.

Diallo is considered an important asset added to our team midfield line, preparing for the new football season participating in many local and continental competitions.
