Good SR scouting to sign him for Goztepe on loan with an option in the first place and then make a big profit.

Definitely some value to be had in South America so good we are starting to utilise it with Alcaraz, Juan, Welington etc. Low risk and potentially high reward.

We could call the Turkish league the Portuguese league. There are weak teams outside of 5-6 teams, but Göztepe is the team that has spent the least money in the league, selling 26 million euros worth of players this season. A goal from Romulo, who left the Süper Lig.

3:0 to Goztepe.  Juan scores the first (pun intended).  Just over 30% possession and less than 60% pass accuracy - almost the complete opposite of us under Martin.  2nd in the table but played one game more than most teams.  A fine achievement considering Goztepe’s relative lack of spend on players and salaries. Well done.

Just gone onto the Goztepe site and translated via Chrome - some of the players names are 'interesting'.

I'm not sure if it's only done some of the players, but the defence looks very good, including Arda Okan Survivor, Aegean Lightening, Taha Six Brothers, and personal favourites Ismail Village Head and Meal Flag.
