By all accounts a certain litigious poster on here has a huge net worth and he's clearly a massive cunt both on here and in real life so I'm not sure why anyone would use that as a yardstick of worth.

Reform have been declining for a while from what was probably an artificial bubble but they’ll still have some big wins and feel they’re on the way back again. Ditto the Greens.

The one party which are really in the plops despite 70 seats are the Lib Dem’s. Our leader only appears when there’s a resignation and no presence other than falling off canoes.

Brand Andy all the way for me. Reckon his shade of lippy will be toned down a little, maybe some just for men to boot. At least he more engaging than his predecessor, who was one of the worst prime ministers in recent history, and the worst for Labour (probably) ever.

Yeah, I saw Farage had called for one yesterday.  TBF I don't really disagree with that either especially with Burnham promising "change".  I think LD mentioned about going for a GE in the autumn and it would probably be the best call Burnham could make.  It'll allow him to be a bit braver and get a proper mandate if he wins.  He should be a better campaigner than Starmer ever was and his popularity probably won't get any higher than it is now.  Could proper decimate the Tories though.

                Large reduction in legal immigration

                Kept us out of Trump's wars.

 

Truss:      Crashed the markets

                Caused the pound to drop to a 37-year low

                Killed the Queen (this has not been proven)

There's half a dozen senior members of Reform who have spent the last ten years insisting that an election isn't required after a change of leader. 

I agree with them, however, if Burnham moves significantly away from the mandate the party has, that should change things.

No, Kemi has said one is not required. At least she’s consistent (probably for selfish reasons) unlike Ange, Our Andy & even Starmer, who called for one when the Tories did it. 
 

It’s a delicate balance, Brown clearly should have called one, whereas May nearly lost to Corbyn when she did. I’ve no doubt he’d win one, but with a reduced majority. This probably means up to 100 labour MP’s losing their seats, so good luck with selling that to the party.

I guess they’ll have a look at the end of the year and see where they are in the opinion polls. Theres a lot to play out yet, Nigel’s standards committee investigation, will the Greens bizarre Left/Islamist coalition last much longer without combusting , and could  the Tories produce a rabbit out of the hat to frighten him (like Osbornes inheritance tax blag did to Brown). Interesting months ahead.

She is incredibly principled and for the people. no doubt, her sudden change of stance is something to do with compassion and for the many, unlike the nasty right wingers
