Give him a 5 year contract tonight.  This guy is going right to the top - what an amazing bit of luck on our part to have him.

I just hope we can keep hold of him as he will be in great demand in the summer (and rightly so).  The way he has turned around this club is remarkable.

He's a fucking genius

Maybe get him to Staplewood tomorrow for some heartfelt congratulations from the board and an improved deal. We can likely keep him providing we get promoted. Be wonderful to build something at the club with a young manager and nucleus of this side!

Would love to see what he could achieve with Saints in the Premier League... Probably won't happen if we don't get promoted this season though, sadly.

He's really turned things around since probably that 4-0 thrashing away at Middlesbrough where we were absolutely atrocious.

We now look almost unbeatable. Fair play.

Tactical Genius

I think he is

He played a mixture of styles, short stuff, long balls in the air, then very direct which created a sense of chaos for Arsenal. Added to that, the compact defending and the press which was focused in certain areas. Amazing detail

I was at the game so missed reading up on his pre game comments until now.

One thing that stood out was his comments about changing the attitude and resilience of the team. Looks like its coming through now especially with the run.

Will also say, after the initial run of games (great run of results), Saints flopped I was frustrated and probably too hasty in thinking here we go again.

Definitely proving to be a canny manager!

Yep the belief and resilience they have now is off the scale and a complete 180 to when he arrived. The interview with THB was telling when he said about little tweaks he’s made to his game after managers advise. Every player is better under him, the players believe, he adapts, changing tactics to the opposition and we’re on a brilliant run, he’s even coped with injuries to key players and kept us winning. Even though managers and tactics don’t really matter you can’t really ask any more from a manager.

What he’s done with this squad is a bigger miracle than anything Jesus pulled off 2000 years ago.

I love him so much if I only had one crème egg I’d happily give it to him. I suspect he prefers tofu or sushi but the point stands

Every single game in the premier league will be as tough as this one but it looks like we have built a team and found a manager fit for the challenge.

Now all we have to do is get there. COYR, COYY

I’ll say it again - we have a special talent on our hands. Every question that has been asked of him he has answered.

He has been seen at work on the world stage tonight, the trick now will be hanging onto him. it won't be easy with multi-million pound contract offers being dangled in frontt of him. My hope is that he sees us as his project to take forward for several years. Getting promoted this season has suddenly become essential rather than a luxury.

Just seen the THB interview now.

Decent insight into what's going on behind the scenes. Sounds really positive.

What a job he’s doing, the guy nobody wanted originally and I’m getting concerned he’s going to be poached now 😂

We’ll never know for certain but Ben Garner coming in as his assistant appears to have made a big impact too.

Can't fail to be impressed!

But he hasn't beaten Man City at home yet 😶‍🌫️

Only the best managers in Europe achieve that... ;)

Love how he comes across in this interview.... I hadn't clocked that we won the toss and chose to change ends to take advantage of the wind. Genius!

Am I right in thinking he’s beaten more Premier League teams than any of our actual Premier League managers since Ralph? (Selles, Jones, Martin, Rusk, Juric)

If you're counting cup games, I'm pretty sure Jones won three. Think we beat Palace the same week we stopped City winning the quadruple.

Sorry a couple of us (Dirk and myself) could see immediately that he had something about him.  That being said, never expected hm to be as genious as he's turned out to be.  No question he will be a top, top manager (and hopefully for Saints for many years to come)

Yeah, if only more people had had faith in this manager being able to get a tune out of this "mediocre squad"... ;)

In fairness I half agree with this part:
