If Wrexham win, as it looks like they will, we'll need to beat Coventry or it's going to look like a mountain to climb. They could be 6 points ahead of us by the end of our game tomorrow and that'll probably be a step too far.

Agree, despite recent form we've left ourselves with too much to do

Norwich is going to be a very tough game next week.

Their manager change has made such a difference, won 5 of the last 6, looking at our run of fixtures reminds me of our last poor run of form,  Coventry, Norwich, Oxford,  we only got 1 point from reverse fixtures

Relax....

Wrexham

vs Watford (A): Draw (1-1) — Vicarage Road is a tough place to go.

vs Sheffield Utd (A): Loss (2-1) — The Blades are pushing for autos.

vs West Brom (A): Win (0-1) — Wrexham often find a way in gritty away games.

vs Southampton (H): Draw (2-2) — A classic high-stakes battle.

vs Birmingham (A): Loss (2-0) — Fatigue starts to show.

vs Stoke City (H): Win (2-1) — The Cae Ras crowd carries them.

vs Oxford Utd (A): Win (0-2) — Crucial points against lower-half opposition.

vs Coventry City (A): Loss (3-1) — Toughest game left on the calendar.

Southampton

vs Coventry (A): Loss (2-1) — The leaders are just too strong right now.

vs Norwich (H): Win (3-1) — Clinical at St Mary's.

vs Oxford Utd (H): Win (4-0) — Goal difference booster.

vs Ipswich Town (H): Draw (1-1) — A tactical stalemate.

vs Wrexham (A): Draw (2-2) — Honors even in North Wales.

vs Derby County (H): Win (2-0) — Professional performance.

vs Swansea City (A): Win (1-2) — Saints' possession game frustrates the Swans.

vs Bristol City (H): Win (2-1) — Late winner secures the points.

vs Blackburn (H): Win (3-0) — Dominant home display.

vs Preston (A): Draw (1-

1) — Last day nerves

We finish two points clear with much better goal difference.

Don't stress after a defeat tomorrow it will be on target ;)

The Blades are definitely not pushing for autos

Wrexham certainly have some tough matches there and can't see them winning them all. We just have to take care of our business, and beat them

Don't wrexham also have middlesborough

Also thik their game against coventry will be a win for them as by that point they will likely have won the league.

Agree, but might as well keep fighting while it's mathematically still possible.

We finish 5 points clear, after losing at Wrexham, with much better goal difference.

It won't happen like this but shows we are right in it, but few bad results for either would turn it

Absolutely. I hope I have my words stuffed royally down my throat!

West Brom leading v Hull. Maybe Hull are indeed catchable…

Very catachable. One of the worst top six teams I've seen in a long while. Can't believe we gave them six points this season.

Win v Norwich and two teams within 3 points plus we have better goal difference it’s really starting to tighten up very much in our own hands now

Totally disagree

We increasingly look like the team to bear

We now look very solid and for the most part were comfortable today against the team that has run away with the league

Credit to the coaches

So for the next few days we all love Watford.

Watford need to sort themselves out and battle to a win vs Wrexham , they play on Tuesday so we'll get to watch them first

Wrexham's last two matches are against the two best teams in the league.

but...

those two teams probably will have secured auto promotion by then.

Talk about lucky.

Coventry perhaps, but 2nd place is wide open, I think Ipswich will get it.

6 of our next 8 games are at home, need to make the most of that

That didn’t age well did it!!

None of us know and that's the beauty of it, fact is as of now Hull and Wrexham are in the driving seats and we're chasing them

Unfortunately Hull will beat Sheffield wednesday at home next week so we've got little room for error catching them soon

They will both be desperate to win the league. Wrexham won't get an easy passage against either

I think we are. We’ve got the momentum’, 6 of our last 9 at home, probably on paper the easier run in although this league that doesn’t mean much. Win our game in hand on Hull 3 points between us, then and Wrexham plus we go to Wrexham who have two tough away games this week whist we have 2 at home. I got a feeling we’ll be in the top 6 this time next week

If only we hadnt persisted with ginger idiot and the 5 at the back for so long. I’ve been one of Stephens  biggest critics over the years , but him and THB have been class since we switched to a flat back four. I think if we reach the playoffs , then nobody would want to face us

Pretty mad results all round this weekend. Top 3 at start of play were all at home and only 1 point between them! And out of top 6, only Ipswich and Wrexham got the 3 points in spite of 4 out of 6 being at home. Just goes to show looking at remaining fixtures and who teams are facing doesn't always matter so much in such a competitive league, anything can happen! We just need to focus on ourselves and keep picking up the points. 👍

If we beat Norwich on Wednesday I'll really start to believe, talking of momentum they've won 9 of their last 11, hard game to call. There's been no news on Rod Stewart has there?

Main thing for me is it’s in our own hands, we won’t win every game but neither will everyone else but all things considered I take our position over Wrexham and Hulls.

6 of last 9 at home should be a good thing as long as the home crowd steps up as well, need to really start getting behind the team. Away support has been good this week.
