I'm puzzled why so many here are assuming this is only about the Boro incident. If that were all it was, there would be nothing like this drama. The £100m question is whether we've been doing something similar ever since Eckert took over. If they have a witness who can credibly say that we have, we're in much deeper trouble.   And to me it's highly unlikely this was a one-off.  So yeah, it's super-annoying how aggressive Boro have been... but the harder-but-truer point is that we've brought this on our own heads.   The thought of three more days of uncertainty is horrible.

The charge against us is only to do with Middlesbrough, no one else. Until we've heard anything different, of course we will assume that.

I thought the players look angry and frustrated on the pitch, and Tonda looked like he wanted to say something but couldn't. I know the rest of the world read Tonda in a different way, but we know him

It just feels there is more to the story

I know the silence is frustrating, but I'd back Dragan in a court case over Gibson every day of the week. If nothing else, look what the silence has done to WendyFC, they've shot themselves in the foot with their reaction

Yep. I think they are probably getting pissed as we aren't engaging in their ridiculous circus.

It’s likely inadmissible due to no other charges by other clubs being brought against us.

Didn't that poster on here who put the really good pics and video together say from where the photographer was standing you cant see the 1st team pitch, only the academy and women's pitches

Which could be true.

However, the rule is quite explicit when it says that a club are prohibited from “observing or attempting to observe another club’s training session”.

So, again, it’s the difference between fact and mitigation. Don’t think it’s gonna wash that he was up there trying to watch their women’s team.

Tonda definitely wanted to say something and I bet he will once all this is behind us.

Ive read a lot of pages on the  Boro site and have come to this fairly succinct observation. They are nowhere near as funny as the posters we have on here.

Okay, thats my two pence worth.

Can’t wait until we’re find £1m and get a suspended three point deduction from the EFL, and gain promotion; but Middlesbrough get a police enquiry for a GDPR breach and are find £5m.

The police don't investigate GDPR breaches. It's not a criminal matter. You'd be talking to ICO (Information Commissioner's Office) for the UK
https://ico.org.uk/

And, all they've said is that the spy used their bank card to buy a coffee. We have no evidence as to how they came to that statement. Maybe a member of staff recognised them. If they've done something like correlate hotel records with credit card records then they've been very naughty but unless someone is really stupid it's pretty much impossible to prove.

There is one solution.

They could conclude the Man City case, relegate them, then give Middlesbrough their place

We go up via the playoffs then we can spy on them again next year for old time sake

While there's a lull in proceedings, can we focus on the real scandal here?

Which is that @Miltonaggro has scored a new forum record for reactions to a single post (97 and counting), while clearly gaining an unfair advantage from the deployment of a previously unknown 'moderator's recommended post' feature.

Where's this feature been for the rest of the season?

I demand an independent enquiry, and — if found guilty — Miltonaggro's expulsion from the forum.

I agree. Another example of the systemic lowering of forum standard making it much more easy to get likes and lols. Not like in the old days when you had to earn them, people reading back through the forum appreciating the fine work. I suspect it willl just lead to good posters not bothering anymore and you can see why!

Because no other charges have been brought against SFC.

I'm here for this. Though I'd go a step further. Relegate Chelsea as well then all three of us can go up (Hull as well).

Extra bonus points for relegating Tottenham just because and Millwall can join the party too.

Dragan needs to prove he is a genuine Serbian hard man and start taking a few of these cunts out. Great hearts and minds win

Do you see my post he’s continually fighting with the pro Russian President at one point Vucić accused Dragon of plotting to kill him. These people lived lived through the Yugoslav Civil War they had relatives killed. A diffferent culture.

Failing to deal with the matter at hand sounds like an admission of guilt and / or defeat. Are we to conclude that miltonaggro is the premier poster on SaintsWeb?

Which must mean @Turkish is going to be removed from the forum. Shame really, but you can see the inevitability of it.

#KarenFCForumWatch

They say forum memory is short and TeessideAcko is back. The 400 follower super poster has shared exclusive news that a replay might be on the 27th. This gives Neil Maddison a brief respite from the outrage being directed his way as hope is rediscovered before they, once again, remember Acko may be full of shit given that Hull shared that a quarter of an hour ago. One thing is very clear and that is that is all Southampton's fault and Karen FC have behaved peerlessly throughout. Will Acko return with another scoop? Only time will tell.

I noticed that, then I also noticed some Muppet has claimed to have booked a premier inn for that date. Same said Muppet is also excited about his all you can eat breakfast plus the fact his daughter won't eat hers so he gets a child's one free as well.

Am I missing something 🤦‍♀️🤣🤦‍♀️🤣🤦‍♀️

One rigged popular post doesn’t make a forum great. Come back when you get 75+ lols in a week and don’t have to ask the mods to pin your post to get a bit of popularity, then we can talk about who’s the premier poster

This, at the top of every page, brazenly soliciting likes right under our very noses, like a poorly-hidden intern protruding from a tree:

Do you think Troy Deeney would think that was 'fair'?

What about Henry Winter, or James Corden?

Because I don't

We already know that that scenario is bollocks.

Could we get kicked out? It's possible, but extremely unlikely.

But let's just say the verdict from the panel is expulsion. In that scenario, the next step is an immediate appeal by Saints — which is permitted under EFL rules — and in that scenario the final gets postponed until such time as the appeal has played out, which could take months, and which would open an enormous financial, logistical and legal can of worms for everyone involved. The EFL, Saints, Boro, MIllwall, Wrexham, Wembley, individuals who've bought the tickets which are now readily on sale, etc etc.

There is literally no scenario where Saints get kicked out, the club justs accept it, and as part of that process Boro are immediately asked to step forward to play in the final on the 23rd instead of us.

Not one.

But what if Gibbo says this is what he wants?

Hopefully this weekend West Ham get a result at Newcastle, and we have a really controversial FA Cup final so that every footballing mouthpiece has something else to talk about for a change.

So you're a big fan of Tubby-the-mouthpiece-Corden then?

What you’re describing is a mitigation factor.

What seemingly is factual is that our employee was there and he was pointing an iPhone at the Boro players training, which is blatantly against the rules.

Mitigation is important, but the factual basis of “did you break the rules”? is first and foremost. Everyone but the most rose eyed spectalist would tell you we’ve more than likely broke the rules. So there should be a punishment. The mitigations will establish just how much was gained by us / lost by Boro and, one would think, issue a proportional punishment based on that.

It’s the job of the panel to make a judgement based on our response to the EFL’s charges. Some of that will be the gain/loss. Much will be why we there in the first place.

Call it a tenner fine then.
