egg Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Yep. The movement from the front 4 is terrible. As for Quansah.

adrian lord Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago What are the studio pundits on? Because I’d like some of it.
obelisk Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Panama looking more dangerous than England. More shots on target.

die Mannyschaft Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Why are England wearing black or dark blue shorts, should be white. Looks like a traing kit

BotleySaint Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago 2 minutes ago, Sheaf Saint said: Panama have had the better chances. England defence looking vulnerable against any decent attack. Getting bogged down in rest of the pitch. Panama working very hard. 1

Window Cleaner Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago What's wrong with England? Are they on strike or something.

BotleySaint Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Awful crosses. England always take that second touch. Never play if first time. 3
adrian lord Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Both Saka and Rashford are playing diabolically on the wings 1

Sheaf Saint Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Well I wasn't expecting a great game, but congratulations to England for far surpassing my expectations if just how shit they could be. Not bothering to stay up for the second half. 2
Osvaldorama Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Fucking hell this is so bad. Honestly think current Saints side would beat England, despite the “big names” 1

The only time that they don't take a touch first is when they're in plenty of space andvthey ping the ball straight back to the defence.
saintant Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Same performance we've seen a million times. Need to up it in the second half.
obelisk Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Other teams will be jostling with each other in the hope that they can get England in the next round.
Holmes_and_Watson Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago England still struggling to break team's down, with very slow build ups. Moving it across the park, because they've been told to, rather than for any advantage at that speed. Despite the 'tators saying if one goes in it will be two or three, Panama have had a lot of the better movement and passing. In part, on the break, but some good understanding too. Saka and Rashford at least brought England into it towards half time.
saintant Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago If this goes to 60-70 minutes Panama will start to fancy their chances. Where are our top quality players because everyone looks ordinary again. 3

AlexLaw76 Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago Dosed off around the hydration break. Christ, we aint getting anywhere in this World Cup. 3
SWLondon Saint Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I think against super defensive teams like this, you need to have someone like Bellingham on the ball instead of Anderson at the base of midfield. Anderson needs to be a bit more ambitious, but also I don't think Kane is the right player for this kind of setup, you need someone who'll move the defence around like Watkins would, running the channels and running in behind instead of always coming short.

Agree it might be time to take off Kane and give Watkins a go. Kane is struggling to make an impact - he'll probably score a hattrick now 🙂 1 1

It's too predictable with them always cutting back inside. 1
saintant Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago That old chestnut, 'there's no easy games in the world cup' Cop out.
adrian lord Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago 2 minutes ago, saintant said: That old chestnut, 'there's no easy games in the world cup' Cop out. Indeed. He even described Panama is ‘dangerous’. They haven’t scored a goal yet in this World Cup and they never win games. How dangerous does he think are the likes of France, Argentina, and Spain?
die Mannyschaft Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago This game reminds me of pre season Eastleigh v Saints last season. 1
AlexLaw76 Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago In games like this, does Kane need to drop so deep all of the time....

BotleySaint Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Another 0-0 on the cards then. England stuck in the same patterns and unable to change.
