Bring back Saint and Greavsy, Brian Moore, Jimmy Hill.

Panel to include Clough, Big Jack, Lawrie and Channon. Big personalities with opinions worth listening to.

Panama have had the better chances.

England defence looking vulnerable against any decent attack. Getting bogged down in rest of the pitch. Panama working very hard.

Zero movement off the ball. Agricultural crosses.

Yep. Our movement is shocking. So easy to defend against.

What's wrong with England? Are they on strike or something.

Union said they can WFH for this game but FA said get to ground so they are working to rule.

Well I wasn't expecting a great game, but congratulations to England for far surpassing my expectations if just how shit they could be.

Not bothering to stay up for the second half.

Awful crosses. England always take that second touch. Never play if first time.

The only time that they don't take a touch first is when they're in plenty of space andvthey ping the ball straight back to the defence.

England still struggling to break team's down, with very slow build ups. Moving it across the park, because they've been told to, rather than for any advantage at that speed.

Despite the 'tators saying if one goes in it will be two or three, Panama have had a lot of the better movement and passing. In part, on the break, but some good understanding too.

Saka and Rashford at least brought England into it towards half time.

If this goes to 60-70 minutes Panama will start to fancy their chances. Where are our top quality players because everyone looks ordinary again.

Fucking hell this is so bad.

Honestly think current Saints side would beat England, despite the “big names”

My son prodded me and woke me back up around 37 mins in ...

I think against super defensive teams like this, you need to have someone like Bellingham on the ball instead of Anderson at the base of midfield. Anderson needs to be a bit more ambitious, but also I don't think Kane is the right player for this kind of setup, you need someone who'll move the defence around like Watkins would, running the channels and running in behind instead of always coming short.

Agree it might be time to take off Kane and give Watkins a go.  Kane is struggling to make an impact - he'll probably score a hattrick now 🙂

What I don't get is why the players on the pitch can't show a bit of initiative, for example Saka and Rashford could try swapping wings and going on the outside. It's too predictable with them always cutting back inside.

That old chestnut, 'there's no easy games in the world cup' Cop out.

Indeed. He even described Panama is ‘dangerous’. They haven’t scored a goal yet in this World Cup and they never win games. How dangerous does he think are the likes of France, Argentina, and Spain?

Bollocks isn’t it, created nothing, done nothing well.

Loads of other teams don’t suddenly look this bad
