badgerx16 Posted 4 April, 2009 Share Posted 4 April, 2009 B0LL0X ! Driving my son home from his band rehearsal last night, he came out with the following : Mark Wotte sees a old woman struggling with a shopping bag. "Are you alright ?" he asks, "Can you manage ?" "P1ss off, you Dutch git." replies the old dear, "You helped cause the mess, you help sort it out." --------------- A child is taken into care after being hit by his father. He turns down a childrens' home and a foster home. "Where do you want to stay then ?" asks the social worker. "At St Mary's Stadium, they don't beat anybody there!". ......................... How true

Ohio Saint Posted 4 April, 2009 Share Posted 4 April, 2009 All I care about is surviving. If fans were leaving early because of the way the score was going as i heard on saints TV, well, then we are screwed not because of the incompetence of the team, but by the lack of intelligence and passion of the "Fans" that made up a small percentage of the numbers of real fans today. Saints would have been better off without a certain idiot section of the fan base that showed the wrong message to potential buyers.

scroz_saint Posted 4 April, 2009 Share Posted 4 April, 2009 My eldest son was taken to this match today. It's events like this that can mentally scar a child for life. Would make his visit to the dentist where they yanked his tooth out without anaesthetic pale into insignificance. Sounds to me that even if we had 40000 Saints fans there today, the team wouldn't pick up. At least a few years ago, we had players who seem to give a fig! Got to pull off an amazing escape next few matches.. if they play again like they did today, will the last one out please turn the lights out.. SW11_Saint Posted 4 April, 2009 Share Posted 4 April, 2009 A must win game that we lost. To a team with virtually nothing left to play for bar pride. Sums up the dispirited ramshackle vestiges of a club that Lowe has left us with. Just a shame that he wasn't there himself to see what 26k odd think of him and his legacy. Unless we win at Watford this week we are down (and even if we do we probably are anyway), but the focus now has to be on the survival of the club - take the pain, and live for a better, brighter future. scroz_saint Posted 4 April, 2009 Share Posted 4 April, 2009 So we will be starting League One on -10 points. At least we will win more games and easily have the best stadium in League Two. Have been looking at the teams in League Division 1, looks like the team we got would find their level there.. Get rid of Wotte, get in an old style belt and braces Manager who knows about football and hopefully we can rebuild. Oh hang on, we had a Manager like that last season with Pearson! Wish we can stay in the CCC, then we can root out the deadwood in the squad, work the kids more. Any investor that comes in hasn't only got to sort out the company side, but they've definitely got to take the team apart and rebuild and get some new blood in, hopefully some players who take some pride in their team! I'm sorry - I was just under the miscontention that this was quite an important game for the club and the fans might, just might, all stay united - no matter what. Sorry matey...I don't give a damn about what Ruperts babes think about the fans.......The fans will not be held to blame by any prospective investor...Most will know the fans are there to be encouraged to return game after game....Rupert and his chorus girls made the fans the scapegoat for a very poorly run business from day one on his return....As soon as I see posters blaming fans who never dare lay the blame where it belongs it shows clearly where their loyalties are.
