As there are alledgedly 19 interseted parties (inevitdably including the tirekickers with or without Barry Briefcase) should we not have an rumour 'list' below that we can scrub the also rans from or use to run a sweepstake? ;-)

OK so todate with odds?

1. Salz/Crouch - probably favourites Evens?

2. Gavyn Davies - ? Suspect in with one of the others? 5-1

3. Fulthrope/Merrington - funds? 3-1

4. Souness? not sure of backer as his previous guy went to Wolves 8-1

5. Heineken Lady? - Dutch Royal family as friends, is that what is know as 'Total fantasy'? 1000-1

6. Iranian/Isreali Brothers? Really - would this not be worse that Lowe/Crouch in terms of potential hostilities? ;-) 20-1

7. Richard Branson - now putting money into Brawn GP - 50-1

8. Paul Allen - naturrally the only choice for SFC! 1000-1

so if its 19 who are the others?

NB. All odds to increase exponentially if LifeLongSaint is involved. ;-)

So which is the most exciting bid, however unlikely?

Is the Fulthorpe bid one of them?

Does Souness have much backing? Surely he wouldn't bother without some serious money behind him?

I don't see how any takeover can be sorted out before our fate is decided. A league 1 club costs less than a CCC club. A league 1 club on -10 points costs even less than that.

Only one way to find out! FIGHT!!:)

Hey? Details please

Sorry, I don't have any details.

Just an obscure hunch as I could never work out why we played a hush-hush game against a Hungarian side who (if memory serves me correctly) were owned/part-owned by some (supposedly) rich Hungarians.

There was also speculation at the time that the game was arranged at SMS at very short notice to show a potential investor around the ground.

Of course, one of the flaws in this hunch is that Ujpest were also forging a working relationship with Wolves at the time but not sure how far down that road they went (I'd of course be able to shed more light on that if I had a scanner up in the loft)

So, just pure speculation on my part (just for once!)

Lowe - had enough & not interested.

Wilde - hopelessly out of his depth.

Crouch - mad as a hatter.

So long as those three are not involved, along with all of their cronies including McMenemy and all previous Directors, then I am happy.

Not sure about Fulthorpe, though. Has talked a lot but produced nothing, except an appeal for money.

I guess Beer Heiress would be nice.

Gavyn Davies (BBC Consortium)

Saw John Motson arrive with someone else at the stadium on Saturday. Looked very 'business like' - not as if he is dressed for commentry!

Motty was sat next to the administrator during the match. Salz was a row or two in front of Crouch.

My money is on a Salz consortium.

Loved the guys there in sunglasses on Saturday - were out before all the others after half time and had a look of "don't look at us, oh go on then". Comical.

Lots of "city types" by the look of it were there on Saturday.

I am really keeping my fingers crossed that its an outsider... with alot of dosh. Dont want Crouch involved again except in an advisory role perhaps as a fan.

Heineken lady or Paul Allen please !! ... but I doubt it.

I just hope Mr Fry takes the best deal for SFC and not the best deal for the bank. I hope he reviews all the options in detail including likely managerial appointment and money for players etc

If you're reading this Mr Fry - it would be nice to hear you reassure the fans that this is indeed the case.

You had better throw Mark "everyone's got a soft spot for Bournemouth and always enjoy coming down here" Jackosn in there somewhere as he was in the Corporates yesterday doing his due dilligence!!!

Whether that involves Beckham, Sheikhs, Barry the Briefcase and Saints Worldwide Inc, I do not know.

I wouldn't rule out a Bransgrove involvement in there somewhere (more a sum of money as opposed to any active involvement).

I also wouldn't rule out Lowe being involved in there group either.

I also wouldn't rule out none of them coming off and having to resort to bucket collections, donations and some sort of big alliance between supporters and others to keep the club alive, at least in the short term.

But as administrator his job IS to do the best for the bank, not for the club or fans. His only real interest inthe long term future of the club is if that long term future is the best way to ensure the creditors get their money in a reasonable time period. He doesn't have all that much discretion.

If Attila the Hun came in with a bid that included immediately paying off all the debts, but then using the pitch to practise his hordes' cavalry charges whilst the peasants watched from the stands, the administrator would take that bid unless someone else matched it financially.

K.

The ex Spurs Centre back that was reportedly linked a while back. He is now some investment type bloke. Works as a property broker and a law firm in London

Ramon Vega? He tried to buy Pompey a few months ago, but got laughed out of town as his bid was completely unrealistic

That would probably be much better value than the "attractive" football we have seen this season.

I expect Marc Xerox Jackson told them about an easy way to get free corporate hospitality. Tyre-kicking freeloaders.

He was heard giving a commentary on the game.....He mentioned the word shiiite a thousand times.:D....Hope he meant the ref and not the beloved Saints.:smt049

Motty has a place in Bournemouth. Saints were at home.

He does have soft spot for the club but his journalistic instincts would tell him to go where there is a potential story.

He would have been there just picking up the vibe, listening up the gossip and when something does happen (either way), he's ready to do a piece for the Beeb.

Although it doesn't appear to be the case at the moment, Saints' fate will still be a story of more than local interest.

If we go under (god forbid) we'll be the biggest club to have done so, or certainly at least the first former Premier League club.

If somebody like Souness or Gavin Davies takes us over, then that's a story as well.

Motty would also have been pointed in the direction by one of the very senior Match of the Day figures who lives in Locks Heath (I won't name him on here, but some people might know him).

Is Motty still active (professionally speaking!)? I thought that he had retired.

The current rumour in Scotland is that Ujpest are trying to do a deal with Celtic over player sharing.

He could have gone to any game in the country, but he went to Saints v Charlton, just to see who was in the Directors Box.

Unlikely.
