  1. They say these bad decisions even themselves out over a season. The last one I can recall that went in our favour was the penalty decision at Brighton which was marginally inside/outside the box. Since then, correct me if I'm wrong - nothing. I have lost count of those that have gone against us since then. We must be owed quite a few in that case for them to even themselves out. I thought the team played well in the first half. Wolves were always going to come at us in the second half as they do with every team, but we were weathering the storm until "that decision" which when you put it against the Matt Cash "handball" and the Wolves "handball" today is just utter garbage. I am really struggling to believe that these referees are so incompetent as to keep making wrong decisions, which only leaves one other scenario........and I've said it on here before......they are, for whatever reason..... Bent! Biased! Corrupt! Call it what you want. When the decisions constantly go against a particular team, the players head's are bound to drop, particularly when you are on a bad run anyway. It doesn't matter how professional they are, to see all their hard work undone by one (or today - two) bad decisions by some twat with a whistle is bound to be disheartening. I find myself watching games now just waiting for the next ludicrous decision.
  2. I don't like Leicester (for obvious reasons) but always nice to see Liverpool losing and it doesn't matter which team beats them. I wonder how long it will be before those wonderful, loyal, devout...... yet funny, Scouse fans start calling for Herr Klopp's head. I reckon another couple of quickfire losses and we might hear murmurings coming from those dustbins.
  3. .......and shove his whistle up his arse. Every time he farts in bed his wife will think she's offside!
  4. Of course the is no place for death threats, but he has now screwed up in the last three games he has officiated, with some very dubious decisions and his conduct needs to be seriously investigated. The "handball" against Villa, Romeu's "no foul" on the Villa keeper, the whole Man U debacle (no complaints over the first sending off), but the so called "offside" for Che's goal, the Bednarek sending off when it shouldn't even have been a penalty, and then the West Ham v Fulham game and Soucek's (spelling?) sending off in the last minute.....when WHU's next opponent is......Man U. I'm sort of pleased he "cocked up" in that game as well, just so it doesn't look like we are the only "victims" of his actions and therefore whingeing. I'm tempted to call it incompetence, but I honestly believe there is more to it than this. After the Villa game I posted a thing on here about possible corruption in the game concerning referees and the week in / week out dubious decision we see in various games. I didn't name any names!!! I stand by this. I hope I am wrong but part of me thinks that one day, I'll be saying "I told you so!"
  5. Some are saying Mike Dean couldn't wait to blow his whistle for that penalty and that he blew it too early. Well I've managed to get my hands on a transcript of what really happened..... Mike Dean blows his whistle. Mike Dean's wife says "Michael dear, why are you blowing your whistle?" Mike Dean replies "I'm awarding Manchester United a penalty my dear". Mike Dean's wife says "But Michael, you're still eating your breakfast ........and it's still only Monday morning. Your game isn't until tomorrow night" Mike Dean replies "Ohhhh but I love Manchester United". (stamping his feet in a tantrum) Mike Dean's wife "I know you do dear.....I know you do, but you'll have to wait until tomorrow night". Mike Dean "Oh ok, but I'm going to send some Southampton players off, particularly those with names I have trouble pronouncing......like Jankowristwatich and Bendynarek and people like that". Mike Dean then takes out his red card from his red and white "Manchester United pyjamas" jacket pocket.....(that his wife bought him for Christmas) "Have you seen my red card. It's great isn't it. Just like me. Great. Great. Great." Mike Dean's wife "Yes dear, it's lovely. I've told you about getting it out at the breakfast table though. Now put it away" Mike Dean then goes upstairs, changes into his referee kit and looks at himself in the mirror for 2 hours, whilst rehearsing the pulling of the red card from his pocket. Meanwhile, his wife is still in the kitchen. She tut's quietly to herself and whispers....."What a wanker". .................So there you have it. The truth has been told.........honest!
  6. OK, I have had over 24 hours to think this over and give a reasoned and rationalised account of what I believe. ..........and so, without further ado here it is. (clears throat) Mike Dean is still a wanker. Thank you (bow and wait for applause)👏👏👏
  7. There's not really much to smile about being a Saints fan lately, but earlier on today I read on the BBC sports page, words to the effect that Man Utd had "re-discovered their mojo" by thrashing Southampton 9-0. I smiled (nore out of sympathy for the inane item really) because frankly, one of the richest clubs in Europe (if not the richest) should be thrashing 10......and subsequently 9 men.......already in a makeshift side, missing so many first choice players (Vesty, Romeo, Diallo, KWP, Walcott etc) , with debutantes and kids playing, and a bench made up of players most have never heard of, especially when you also have your attackers diving for penalties and the referee and VAR going out of their way to help you. To be honest, a league 1 team could possibly have beaten us last night faced with the same scenario, but hey, we're the BBC and we love Man U. Wankers!
  8. The worst referee that there's been Was the biggest CUNT I've ever seen The game's gone corrupt, and is totally fucked And the name of that ref....is Mike Dean
  9. If we didn't have bad luck, we'd have no luck at all.
  10. Take JWP, Ings and Armstrong off to save injuries - bring the kids on - let them have a run around. It's 12 against 10 (Mike "look at me" Dean) being their extra man.
  11. Brilliant! We need to get t-shirts, mugs, socks. etc etc. done. Haha. Well done Whitey Grandad. Shane can wear a shirt with it on......whilst he's sitting on the bench!
  12. Don't even get me started on the moon landings!!! 😀 But since you ask......Everybody knows that a man has never landed on the moon.................but a woman has. I speak of course, of Princess Diana, who was the first and only person to land on the moon. She was then murdered by Elvis Presley, who at the time was working as an undercover cop in Paris. His boss, Robert Maxwell, ordered the "hit". Both Presley and Maxwell, together with their butler, Adolf Hitler, are now fugitives, living on a boat endlessly drifting around the Solent. Some say you can see this boat when there is a full moon and (just to keep it Saints topical) can hear them shouting......"Come on ref - that was definitely a penalty. Goddamn VAR". If you doubt any of this, just ask my mate......David Ike.☠️
  13. I have long had a theory. Maybe even a conspiracy theory. I'm sure I'm not the only one to have thought this. I am definitely not naming any names here, but some of the refereeing decisions we see every season are absolutely baffling. Inexplicable to us fans who watch games week in, week out. Referees work along-side and mix with players every week. They earn reasonable money, but a fraction of what the "mega bucks" players around them are earning. Temptation must be there. Betting syndicates from the far east (China? but other countries too) are very powerful organisations and offer enormous amounts of money to individuals in sport to throw matches (we've seen it on the continent in football and indeed in Test Match cricket). What if these betting syndicates were to get into the referees in this country? Bets on the number or corners, number of fouls, sending off's, throw ins, yellow cards., match scores, both teams to score, or a simple "There must not be a penalty in this game" etc etc. Yes I'm angry about the injustice of last night, but it's not just our games, this is happening in so many games. Lets just say I wouldn’t be at all surprised if in the future it was discovered there is high level corruption of this type in the game. And that will blow the roof off the Premier League forever!!! There - I've said it.
  14. Get rid of VAR. It's ruining the game. There needs to be a proper investigation into these officials. Look at some betting patterns or something. I'm starting to think someone is "on the take" Not just our games, right across the board. I've resisted saying it before but I'm starting to think corruption!!!!!
  15. Of course, proof is not needed, but Mike Dean just confirming what an absolute fucking knob-head he is.
  16. Hopefully he's not more of a Wesley Hoedt type player. I'm not sure we'll ever get to find out though.
  17. BBC are saying Liverpool are hopeful of signing a defender. Where's Vesti?......don't let him out of your sight. I'd be very surprised if Spurs don't at least make an enquiry about Ings with Kane now out. I'm not one of the "doom & gloom" merchants on here, but the next three days could be interesting. And if the worst was to happen, I would hope we are lining up replacements already as we would have to act very quickly. Just sayin.....
  18. It's already on the Danny Ings thread, but Kane injured tonight, ankle again, possibly long-term. They've got 4 days? to come in for Danny Ings. "That'll be fifty million pounds please Mr Levy".
  19. You beat me to it. Got to be worth £50m to them to get him now! haha.
  20. Congrats to JWP. A goal (or two) tonight to cap it off would be lovely.
  21. I agree with Whelk. So many pessimists on this site. We've got to get behind the team. 0-5 Arsenal .........(only joking!) Just seen the team sheet. Cedric at left back. 5-0 Saints.
  22. I don't know about Liverpool coming sniffing around, I shouldn't think f***ing Hartlepool would come sniffing now.
  23. Yep. Another clean sheet, making it five out of six, but there are people here who would prefer to gloss over that. Well done Jack!
  24. I don't like Burnley......but I can't stand Liverpool.....so I guess that's a good result.
  25. Let's assume he goes for £20m. Who could we buy for £20m? If I recall we only paid about £18m for that prolific striker Carrillo..............oh, hang on a minute.
