Takes a long time for Les to count out £6m in 2 pence pieces. Give him some time.

Sky are generally pretty good about Hampshire and today was no exception. Lot's of praise towards the boys and general recognition of what an achievement it is getting to the 5th finals day in a row. It helps having Corky on the team though! Vince batted quite beautifully on a flat pitch which offered nothing for the bowlers. We didn't bowl well, but then again they bowled worse - what was Gurney thinking?? Who do you guys think we should replace Maxwell and Abbott with for finals day?

Players we nearly signed but you're glad we didn't

David Weatherall Think he went to Bradford instead of us and was promptly relegated. -
Sons and fascination - simple minds. Night of a 1000 candles - the men they couldn't hang. Some friendly - the charlatans. The queen is dead - the smiths. Electric - the cult. Could well be different tomorrow, though.

Write the poor bastard off before he's kicked a ball. FFS, there are some utter c***s on this forum. Welcome Ryan. Hope you don't read this forum and if you do, ignore the w a n k e r s.

You always talk sense Turkish and the above is right, but I think the reasons behind why so many players are unhappy and why the Board appear to be in such a mess needs analysis. The way the departure of Cortese was handled, the way Poch was allowed to hawk his services around and disrupt the players and weak management during the first six months of this year could have been avoided, or at least managed a whole lot better. I'm not saying that because of the benfit of hindsight, but genuinely they have lurched from reacting from one situation to another instead of putting in place any real drive since Cortese's departure, to push the club on further. IMHO it's fair to criticise the Board for this.

Agree with this, except that Krueger was wheeled out not to placate the fans because they asked wtf is going on, but to talk to the media who had started to ask wtf is going on. The Board care not for what you and I think or feel. That much is obvious from the comical way they sporadically say what they think we want to hear and then are silent during all the player sales. SSN banner says MS tweeted after meeting with Led Reed. I know who I would rather have leave the club.

Thanks for posting Crab. Keep posting updates / more snippets, irrespective of the numpties having a pop.

Morgan and Jay to Follow According to Simon Peach

No wonder there are no incomings as the whole Board are too busy selling everyone to concentrate on buying any. -
Interesting stuff, thanks for posting it. And more likely the truth with events over the last couple of weeks. It certainly seems the Board as pretty weak and leadership is in frighteningly short supply around the table. Worse is that nothing obvious seems to be happening to correct the situation. Feel sorry for RK and his band of merry men - what have they come into! I will still call MP, Lallana, et al all the ***** under the sun this coming season though!

There has been a spate of prolapsed arseholes in Soton recently, so he may have caught that?

Polaroid - you legend! Thanks!

Hands off! She's mine! Polariod, would you be kind enough to post up some photo's of Diana Rigg in a catsuit, Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman and the fit bird that played Daisy Duke (although that may have been the 80's?). also Gina Lollobrigida was a tidy sort. I'd post up pic's myself, but I'm sat in a boring meeting and looking at this thread on my phone is much better.

That's not strictly true though tim. He did attempt to provide an explanation of his views on the physical laws of movement and the properties of materials, namely steel and concrete, with a mock up demonstration of the WTC using a gingerbread house, an airfix plane and bag of sugar.

I'd second this. Dartmouth is lovely and there is a nice ferry from/to Totnes which is nice for a visit, as well as an old steam traim from Kingswear to Paignton if that's your type of thing. It's also close to Torbay. I lived in Torquay for a bit and loved it. There are plenty of good things to do in the vicinty for a weekend - you'll have no problem filling the time and there is a bit of lively nightlife too if you want it.

Pony rag, duplicitous ****, pointless "debate on size of club". **** me, the season can't start soon enough.

I'd be very happy with Caulker and Borini added to the squad. Very happy indeed.
-
And i heard that he sat at the back of the coach on travel to away games, put deep heat in Boruc's underpants before a game and used to fart and blame it on Shaw, who would get all embarrassed and cry (that's the real reason he wanted out so soon). And i heard that he put egg in Mr Cortese's jam sandwiches, which is why he left to go to another school.

Dusan Tadic - DONE DEAL, official and everything

It doesn't surprise me that you found women difficult to talk to down here. -
Good question. I've always liked a sturdy centre back to be a skipper, so either Jose or Lovren, but Lovren seems to let pressure get to him a bit (both Spuds games last season he lost it a little bit), so either Jose or Davis for me - he has experience of it at international level. Also depends on who we bring in of course!
-
I don't think calling him a ***t on a couple of posts is the same as acting like a dumped teenager. Granted, those few posters who talk of a "grieving process" are right soft lads, panty p!ssers and melts, who need to grow a pair, but the vast majority of what I have read on here, are fellas calling him a ****, because he is one. Do that a couple of times and move on. Only to reprise it when he comes down to SMS next season of course.
-
I'm suprised he didn't mention that he'd made our lives better like the nippers in Brazil. Monkey-faced pony-fiddling arrogant ***t.
-
"Grieving process" "Denial phase"! Wtf!! There's some soft lads on this forum.

He will want to cement a place in the France first XI and he won't do that unless he is playing for a club who are regularly engaged in European football. He's the best player we have and i'd be sad to see him go, but wouldn't begrudge him a move, preferably abroad though. If we keep hold of him, the Board will deserve huge credit.
-
Morgan is good enough for CL football and deserves to be playing at a higher level. He has been terrific for us and stayed when he could have gone. Just hope he goes to a proper elite club abroad and not those north London yobbos.
