Goes to show how good a manager SAF was. Able to get some very good performances out of some average players, which let his very good players do their stuff to win games. And pretty much every week too. I had a little look on some of their forums. Lovely to see some are pant-p!ssingly OTT at their "plight" and have written off Moyes already. The "checks" would probably have been to see if she was just there, not to see if she was alive. If the sedative story is to be believed, then they may have checked her more thoroughly as a matter of course and then possibly found she had passed on. But it does seem fanciful that someone with very limited knowledge of the local environment would have the ability to dispose of a body so quickly and so efficiently to the end that if it were true, hasn't been found even now. It did seem like an exercise in self justification more than an appeal for finding the poor little mite. Their behaviour does seem quite strange and has done from the start.
