  1. I thought about this argument, it doesn't work. Yes, some blokes fancy fat birds, old birds, blonde birds, brunette birds, blokes, hairy blokes, fat blokes etc. But where do you stop at that list? Do you add on "young girls, young boys, animals"? Therefore, whilst it's an interesting way of looking at it, it doesn't work on that level.
  2. My little brother and I went through a stage of being all "Tokyo drift". He had an RX-8 and I owned three various 350z, each increasing in horsepower. The 350z was/is a very fun car, but my borther's RX-8, despite being slower made me smile just as much - I did also like the fact you could stick 4 adults in comfort in it. It chewed oil in ridiculous quanities and the MPG is very very poor for the performance. I was gutted when he sold it and bought a Mini GP works with silly red door mirrors - yeah, lots faster than the RX-8, but it never bought the same smile to my face - he only kept that 4 months, says it all. I do love my Japanese cars and I still wouldn't mind relieving my Civic Type-R days from 2001 when they came out. Fantastic car, great fun - would love to find a non-abused one as a run around, but chances of one being "non-abused" will be minimal.
  3. Having just got back home and reflected on the train journey back with a Spurs mate ... Wanyama will be awesome this season. Everything he did was spot on and he's a good physical presence. Morgan's passing was lovely too today. Biggest disappointment was Gaston, again. I just don't get him, what am I missing? Chambers was very competent at right back and actually, better than Fox was at left back - apologies to those who like Fox, but it was true.
  4. It's typical of people complaining on behalf of people that may or may not be offended, but they feel the need to complain just in case they are offended. Utter, utter helmets.
  5. Agreed.
  6. Well like most people, I enjoy eating animals and real meat. My first reaction to this was "urgh".
  7. Amen. This sums up the notion perfectly!
  8. hahahahahahahaha
  9. ... this coming from Minty, THE voice of reason ... wow 'Matthew Le God', you've sunk to a new low sunshine.
  10. Surprised so many think Cardiff will go down ... ?
  11. It's a valid story - Adkins can ASK, there's nothing to stop him doing that and I'd imagine that's as far as this would go. It's probably equivalent to Saints asking/enquiring about Rooney to be honest - we may be able to afford the transfer, but not the wages and he'd be unwilling you'd presume to "step down".
  12. This is one of those things where I just couldn't give a rat's arse to be honest. They're rubbish now and will probably continue to be rubbish; I probably get one letter every fortnight that's been "lost" and arrives in a plastic bag covered in mud and is torn.
  13. Some people don't like their new place of employment or place of residence and want to go back. It happens, it's not unusual, get over it.
  14. It should do. You're a disgrace.
  15. Christ is, where are you? It's under a mile from my house.
  16. Because like many of the simpleton clowns on Twitter, lots of the cretins on here are utterly sycophantic, thinking that they'll get favour in the way of first hand info. Most of us don't care and I personally don't bother worrying about rumours and possibilities, it's dull; we'll sign who we sign and most of us have a life outside of worrying about potential players or bloody stripes on a nylon sports uniform.
  17. Just to p*ss everyone off who doesn't buy one, I will. I'll give it to a charity shop or store it or something, but I'll have "made my point" [that it's just a football shirt].
  18. Not having seen any of them play, I have no idea. Who has actually seen all 3 play, properly? (I don't include bloody youtube either)
  19. Jesus Christ. What a ridiculous thread. Look, some parts of Southampton are disgusting. Some parts of every city are disgusting. But Southampton probably has more than it's fair share of affluent areas - you could include the New Forest too. Stupid thread. Let me guess, you're a typical Twitter wind up merchant?
  20. I wouldn't. But seriously ... I do dispair. Any wind up merchant, bored kid or simpleton can have an account and post crap. There always seems to be another wind up merchant, bored kid, or simpleton that believes it and/or just wants to carry on the rubbish. Social Media is going past the stage or being interesting. It's a sales tool for companies for social marketing and a place for bored housewives and jobless people to hang out.
  21. The Lizard is where I love to head back to in terms of the UK. But I can recommend the South Wales coast - round St Davids and down the Gower Peninsula/Swansea. Also, the Scilly Isles - fantastic! Most other places are too boring or too old school seaside (Blackpool? Skegness?).
  22. Jesus Christ. This is the problem when new things become mainstream and used by everyone, including all the thick and simple. Twitter is now full of simpletons and wind up merchants - don't believe everything you see, in fact, don't believe 99.9% of what you see. I can't believe I actually have to point this out?
  23. No, what a stupid idea. I honestly do not understand why anyone cares what the team wear? So long as the team exists, is playing good football and so on, who cares. They could wear a pink shirt with 'TY" on it for all I care. Okay, maybe not, but you know what I mean. I've only ever bought 2 Saints shirts - the grey FlyBe one a few years back (was good for the gym) and the Sash shirt as it was a proper one-off. I don't get why people want to wear horrible pieces of tight-fitting nylon and why people are so worried about it. Christ, be individual. It. Is. Just. A. Football. Shirt.
  24. If you're going to pick a song, this is always a winner for me - but I think the problem is that our PA just isn't loud enough for this. Or, my 2nd option would still be;
