Charlton 0 Saints B 0 - Charlton Win Extra Point On Penalties
Patrick Bateman replied to spyinthesky's topic in The Saints
I liked the look of Valery in the preseason matches I watched online; granted that's no substitute for seeing him in the flesh, so good to read that you thought he looked decent. -
I suspect Bournemouth's press team are trolling him
-
Was going to post something similar, what a dull post.
-
She's irritating. They could have picked someone who can actually present, not someone the little boys can fap over. I want facts, not opinion, drivel and crap presenters.
-
Oh Puel, Puel Whatever will be will be We'll win the Europa League Oh Puel, Puel He hates pompeeee *clap clap clap* He hates pompeeee *clap clap clap* You know it, I know it ...

So what? Lots of people enjoy hunting, especially in the US where its a huge market.

Agree with this. Two industries that are ripe for taking to pieces and modernising; Estate agencies and conveyancing solicitors. Estate agencies are full of morons who really are only interested in their commission, despite the cr*p they feed you. I'd far rather do it all online next time. Conveyancing solicitors are just ridiculous. All the chasing and harassing to get them to DO the job you're paying a lot of money for only to get back "oh haven't you had that yet, we posted it ... " F**KING posted it?? POSTED! Okay yes, there are certain docs that need signatures, but most of the to and fro discussions can happen by email or phone or getting in the room. I'm sure the solicitors for both parties are actually making up questions to ask as well. Another letter another £19 either side. It's all a complete con. I remortgaged last month ... £900 for a solicitor to speak to the banks and do what I could have done. Seriously. Then they had to cheek to charge me to transfer the money to my bank, ARGH.

Saints Transfers Thread - Deadline Day
Patrick Bateman replied to Saint Charlie's topic in The Saints
Reluctantly, I agree. Hence my totally apathetic feeling to the start of the season. -
A signed contract means f**k all if another club is willing to pay for their services and offer them even more money. All the contract gives them is more money and if they f**k up or get injured, a few more years' pay. It's all a farce. B*llocks to them all.

This. I honestly have no interest or excitement, at all.
-
According to this forum, we should sack the manager, made half the first team redundant and then we'll lose 4-0 and not 10-0.
-
Up your ar$e, now bore off.

Even more hype around Friday night - Pogba Debut
Patrick Bateman replied to Give it to Ron's topic in The Saints
He won't - Jose will get that team flying and we won't hear the bloody end of it. Jose Jose Jose Jose Jose Klopp Jose Jose Pep Pep Pep Conte Klopp Jose Jose Pep Klopp Conte Jose. It's tedious already. -
Just ... wow! I hope they return their season tickets, that's worthy of a proper boycott and more widespread recognition to ridicule Charlton.
-
Exactly. I remember on the old Saintslist and on this forum (well, the proper Saintsforever forum in 1999) that there were a couple of people who were genuinely interesting to speak to about club dealings (i.e. what Lowe was like etc). Also, you could still go in the training ground to watch any day you wanted, until during Dave Jones' time when someone (I think it might have been Minty??) went along and posted up what formation they were playing in training on the Friday before the match and the club/Jones got the hump. Anyway. Now the forum / internet seems to be full of people who WANT TO KNOW RIGHT NOW what is happening and aren't content with just waiting to see. They all want to know before other people so they can then tell their mates that they know before other people. It's tedious and boring. We'll know who has signed what, when it's up on the official site. The internet seems to be breeding and creating bores who want to be the first to know everything. Anyway, as you were.

Not as much of a **** as you though, hun
-
Knowing both Essruu and Turkish well, I know neither are full of ****
-
You been on the herbs? 1-0 and 0-0 will be more likely.

It was boring. The Guardian was well written as well as balanced.
-
Nope, it's a great article, nicely balanced.
-
100% this, well put.
-
Exactly this. I also know a number of businesses who simply have season tickets in the Kingsland or Itchen and entertain people in Oxford Street or South Western House etc. It sense as you get nicer food and you're more able to take your clients to other places if they so wish. I don't know anyone who'd be happy sanctioning £43k a year for that.

Thanks mate, appreciated ...
