  1. Koeman: Hi Lessh, I'd like to buy Man-ey as I love his qualities. Les: Sure, that'll be £99m please. Job done.
  2. How about he f**king pays for it like anyone else? But it's easier to deliver little snippets of info under the 3 post umbrella and leave all the morons either salivating or leaking urine.
  3. De Boer still for me - although there is a LOT of quality out there. I like his playing pedigree, he was another awesome defender to watch and his management credentials have so far put Koeman's to shame, despite being considerably younger! But there are many I wouldn't object to.
  4. If that's the case, the only shame and annoyance is that any feelings I had that there might be at least a tiny bit of honour and loyalty left in football has evaporated. F**k them all quite honestly. I would like the guy to stay, purely because he seemed like a good guy, has done a good job and it would be nice to have some continuity and longevity.
  5. Agree with this. Would love to have some longevity for a change, a 4 or 5 year manager - this even newer era of managers lasting a year is just ridiculous. Although thank god I don't support Leeds!
  6. Yep, why not! It's not a huge amount to the club in the grand scheme of things.
  7. Bring it! Although they'd be off to Man Utd in 2 years after Mourinho wins every trophy there is then implodes.
  8. LOL, there goes my £10 then
  9. It's all games - I'm pretty sure he'll end up at a PL club!
  10. Well I stuck £10 on Emery at 6/1 (at Everton). WTF is there to lose, apart from £10.
  11. You're a boring ***** as well.
  12. Unlike you, I'm old enough to remember Everton being pretty useful and almost being regarded in the same manner as Leicester this season. Now wind your neck in (look it up on Google if you don't understand that reference) and f**k off, silly little inbred scouse c*nt.
  13. Personally I think he's got something. Arsenal may well be very strong next year and are definite title contenders already, along with Spurs. Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool >> all of those clubs are going to be shuffling players out and spending big money on big signings. One of those clubs might click and do well, but I can't see all the managers doing well with brand new teams. Mourinho knows the league, but Klopp's already had half a year. Unless Klopp manages to pull of the signings of the decade for a club with no European competition, it'll be Man Utd that probably excel from that group. It's all hypothetical, but I do get what Les is saying. We shall see. You may be right and the top 6 is a closed shop we drop out of, but f**k it, we've got to give it a go and now seems like one of the best chances for many many years for another interesting season next year.
  14. Yes to all of those. David Hirst? I was pleased to get him in. Juanmi. There are too many to list that exceeded expectations though - Patrick Colleter grew on me for some weird reason as did Kevin Richardson (although he was no Jimmy Case was all you'd f**king hear). We also had many kids who were hyped up to f**k and never lived up to anything; Mark Paul, Cosimo Sarli, Kevin Gibbons etc etc., and watching dross like Richard Dryden. God most of the 90s was sh*t, thank god for Flowers, Dodd, Kenna, Shearer, Le Tiss, Eklund and later Beattie and Pahars (the latter just in the 90s, I can't even remember?). How about managers you were excited by who did f**k all? Souness for me. I was excited Souness was joining Southampton as manager, only to find out later that he pretty much killed off the academy. Awesome.

  16. That's ridiculous! I was expecting 100, 200. As someone else said, I think the days of a 5000/1 "long shot" are now gone thanks to Leicester :/
  17. Worth a quid!
  18. Nah, I'm with the group stage philosophy - no hiccups, at least 3 (?) good European matches away, what's not to like?
  19. Or if Bitton went directly to Spurs and we had no bids for Wanyama
  20. +Red back +Navy blue home shorts Job done.
